Checking Ping on a Ragnarok Online Server
« on: Jun 05, 2017, 11:22 AM »
Hey there, I am not sure if this is the right section, but I will try to ask anyways.

Whenever I am looking for a new server to play on, I usually try to locate the server via information they provide and the time zone they work in.

Well now I wanted to ask you guys, if there is a way to test the ping myself. I usually ping the website via cmd and the ping command, but... is there a way to ping the server directly?

I figured there should be a way, since we connect to a server all the time.

I would really appreciate any help <3! Thank you very much in advance.

You will need to know the server's IP that you can only ask them if they want to disclose or you can find it in their client.

The IP of the server can be found in clientinfo.xml which is most probably in your server main grf file
