Quick setup guide

For those of you who are wondering here is a little guide to getting into the RMS test server.
First off you will have to modify the xml first.  It should look something like this:
(Feel free to copy and paste)

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="euc-kr" ?>
<clientinfo>
<servicetype>korea</servicetype>
<servertype>sakray</servertype>
  <connection>
     <display>RMS Test Server</display>
     <desc>http://play.ratemyserver.net</desc>
     <address>83.133.124.103</address>
     <port>6900</port>
     <version>20</version>
     <langtype>0</langtype>
     <registrationweb></registrationweb>
  </connection>
</clientinfo>

When you are saving your file and formatting it to .xml just type: sclientinfo.xml
(its that easy  )


If you saved it correctly it should look something like this

(for me it looked something like this (using windows XP)

If you did this correctly you should use your .exe file to enter (recommended download the link ratemyserver has posted which is http://rapidshare.com/files/38066690/2007-04-16a_Sakexe_v10.exe.html OR http://www.megaupload.com/?d=J48A0QG2)
If the sclientinfo worked you're log-in screen should look like this:

If I am also a part of another server, will this allow me to choose the test server from the server list? Or do I have to change the xml all the time.

that is, if you already have a sclientinfo.xml then you edit it like the step says.

well the login screen did came out as you had shown and login to character was fine. however until selected a character, it returns "server connection closed."

Here is my problem.. the login screen came out where you choose "RMS Test Server" , but when i click ok my background screen goes black and what is only left is the small box where the RMS Test Server is.. =(

that's my prob too..and in the server list, RMS test server currently has 0 players online(?!)
but in RMS site, the status of the server is online..so, what to do?

k, so what is ragray setup 1210? is that the latest version of sakray or something?

I'm having the same problem as Addicted is having...I see the RMS Test Server and then when I click OK to connect my screen goes black and freezes. Nothing short of ending the process corrects it. I am using AnthemRO client with fully updated sakray. Can someone point me in the right direction?
