Help, I can't connect to another server
« on: Jul 17, 2007, 03:49 pm »
I installed the RMS client, the file.xml, and played a little, after that I deleted the 2007-04-16a_Sakexe_v10.exe and the sclientinfo.xml and now I can't connect to any server...
I tried to put that files back, but didn't work too
can someone help me?

Read the stickied topics and all links within.  You either didnt follow the correct filepaths or your data.ini was brutally murdered.

I think it was murdered then... because I followed the paths correctly. But now I can enter ONLY on the rms test server, my others 2 servers that I play I get the error "Failed to connect to the server"...

I tryed to reinstall the others 2 servers patches, but didnt work..

=(

Just a note for multi server play (and a setup that has worked marvelously for me)

1. Leave EVERYTHING clean in the base Ragnarok directory (ie clean kro install)
2. Make a subdirectory for every server you play inside the Ragnarok directory
3. Install as usual in the subdirectories
4. Edit the data.ini files so that data.grf and sdata.grf point to ..\data.grf and ..\sdata.grf
5. Enjoy

Ive so far done this with close to a dozen servers and have yet to have any serious problems with them, and the few I did have were easily resolved, due to the lack of conflicting server stuffs.
