Gravity Error Help Please

Well I got on the RMS server pretty easily and it was all going fine and dandy, and then someone spawned Satan Morroc and i got a Gravity error. I also get this with Naught Sieger, and giant MVP's as well. I know its from these MVP's because it doesn't happen when i'm summoning any other MVP, and I attempted summoning the MVP's that gave me error myself, and once again it error'd me. Could anyone help me out if they know whats wrong?

Did you patch?

Ragnarok.exe and RagnarokRE.exe

also check, if the data.ini contains both, data.grf as well as rdata.grf

it has the rdata.grf, and it had the data.grf, but i changed that one to sdata.grf.
I also didnt know i had to patch BOTH Ragnarok.exe and Ragnarok_RE.exe.
I'll try that and see what happens.

Why would you rename the data.grf to sdata.grf?

sdata = Sakray Data
data = kRO Data

Client reads both anyways, just keep it as data.grf and use Ragnarok.exe to patch it then,
after that patch RagnarokRE.exe to patch the rdata.grf

The test server (the server client.exe RMS provides), however reads sdata.grf.


Two options you've got here, get the renewal client, update it, rename the data.grf to sdata.grf and you should be fine.

kRO/SAK updated should work too, and if it doesn't, download this:

Sorry, I didn't know that, they read both by default.

Do i need to put the FullData_v3 inside the Data folder, or do I need to replace the Data folder with the FullData_v3 file?

needs to be inside the data folder.

So you should ie; have

Gravity/RO/Data/Book
Gravity/RO/Data/Palette
Gravity/RO/Data/sprite
Gravity/RO/Data/dc_scream.txt

etc

The Palette folder could be huge with millions of annoying little files.  If your server uses custom dye, it should be within the grf of the server you are playing.  You shouldn't need it for the test server because we don't use custom dye.
