Client won't start.

Fresh new install of RO/Sakray, patched the hell out of them, downloaded the RMS client, made the sclientinfo.xml file and all that, but the client won't start.

Like, literally. I doubleclick on it and nothing happens. I've downloaded it a couple times and got nothing. What gives?

Any other errors?
Make sure you have sdata.grf (sakray) in the folder the client is in.

No other errors, and I have the client in RO's root directory, so yeah, sdata.grf is there.

Make sure the sclientinfo.xml is in the data folder and make sure there is no data.ini in the client folder.

The first two folders are just other servers I play on.

Make sure the sclientinfo.xml is in the data folder and make sure there is no data.ini in the client folder.

Once again, our client DOES NOT READ data.ini.

Your error is mostly likely related to the data folder itself.  Do you have any remnant files in there?  Try to clear everything out except sclientinfo.xml.

Once again, I don't HAVE data.ini.

Deleted everything out of data but sclientinfo.xml and then the client wouldn't open at all.
