Can't login
« on: Jan 24, 2012, 09:26 pm »
Everytime I try to make an account/login to the test server I get a popup that says NO MSG, and before the client window comes up I get a message that says [string "buf"]:10: attempt to call global 'Iter_getTable' (a nil value)

Does anyone know how to fix this? :<

That is a problem with your client, are you able to connect to any other server?

Your problem is similar to some other people's that are posted/solved in this section >> http://forum.ratemyserver.net/ro-client-support/

I recommend you install the 07-27-2011 kRO in the download section http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=download_kROLinks and follow the instruction to complete patching.

you suck jk  /kis

You've messed up something on kro+rms files or lack some updates since the client is trying to get something that doesn't exist.
Better advice I can give to you is to get a clean folder, add kro to it, update using rsu patches [yes, both exe] and then add rms files.

I got that error once at another server and was because I had messed files from kro with the small client of the server.

PS - I hope you're not using rro's files and just added the rms files to that folder because it never worked fine in here :<

Well based on Tripper's description, and only if you have the installer of the server you are playing on as a backup to re-install it when needed (so you don't complain RMS test server is blocking you from going to another server).  I can suggest you first download and extract the dll package from the download page, replacing files in your RO folder.  See if that fix your error and get you further.  Otherwise, yea go with the big clean install.
