My ggRO review.

Ok so I've been asked to elaborate my review so here it goes.

I joined ggRO because I heard it was a good low rate and I have always loved low rates.
Now I've only seen one other low rate that had over 1000 players and was still good but I logged in and was immediately irritated by the mass amounts of Merchants in the main town, I decided to get over it and just save in another town but I jumped from town to town and they were all flooded with merchants vending and all I could think about was how messy, How incredibly messy, They were covering the Npcs, I could barely move because everywhere i went to click had a shop name that I didn't want to open. This also made me rethink the apparent 1500 players and wonder if they were all auto trading merchants but I can over look that for now, I started leveling up and these two characters walk past me, One named "Cumshot" and another named "Sex Slave"... I put through an @request and didn't get any response until I put through another @request. The Gm then told me to report it on the website...ok that's a little lazy of the GM. so I went onto the website and put through a support ticket, supplied screenshots to be told "We typically don't do anything about inappropriate names. No action taken

Ok so they don't care if players have bad names.. yeah thats pretty bad. My brother convinced me to ignore it and continue playing so I did, I gave it a try and another player came up to me while I was leveling and said 'lol ur weak u gay c***" ... ok I hit screenshot and put through an @request to let the GM's know about this rude player, Again I was told to report it to the forum.. IF thats all you are going to say to me then why are you even a GM. so once again I logged out, onto the website and went to report it only to notice my screenshots are distorted, well I guess I need to find out why so I went back in game and put through an @request asking why and how to fix it. No response ...ok it's been 15 minutes so maybe they missed it, I'll try again. nothing.

My brother even put through a ticket because he found a player impersonating a GM and got told the same thing, screenshot it and report it to the website.. wtf come on, you could at least go investigate that one.

Put through a ticket on the website and still have not heard back, it's been at least 2 days now.
so overall, these are my suggestions if you don't want to lose players.
-Clean up the merchants, get a vending map or at least keep them out of the middle of the street or away from the NPC's at least.
-Either you are lacking GM's or just have GM's that don't care, either way that needs to be fixed.
-Don't let players have rude names, It stops people from suggesting your server to friends or family.
-GM's are suppose to support players, when an @request comes through and its about a player being rude or a bad name, Maybe go investigate instead of being lazy and just telling everyone to go onto the website, Otherwise why are you even there?

It's collecting all the blackest history of Hall of Shame-GM Cookie. He will destroy ggRO, it's only a matter of time. Many people did not join ggRO because of his presence in their staff as admin.

Didn't know this was real lol but sad to see my previous server owner on there 5 times -_-

Character names like "Cumshot" and "Sex Slave" are allowed on ggRO. They have been since day one. I'm actually a bit disappointed that the first RMS thread to mention me has to be one where I refused to punish someone who wasn't breaking any rules.

Oops, for a second there, I forgot that every RMS thread is actually about Cookie! My bad.

actually this server is fkn awesome in terms of
- economy (except abit inflational atm, but np , could be worse, thats a downside of 2k peoples farming stuffs)
- Online peak: arround 2k players /slur
- guild competition: Big names are playing here, lots of big guilds, cant wait for the 1st woe to start.
- pvm: Party base is really big too, its no prob to find and join good random partys for exp.
- no pay2win

there is no other server out there with these huge numbers out there
(except 1-2 servers, but they are either Pay2Win or old and "wasted", mostly not worth to start "something new" there on such an old established server base)

this server can really become something BIG. (if the gms can manage that :p)

alot of problems were/are getting dealed with. even thou i agree that some decisions (RJ npc price drop in addition to no @alootid and healer increase) arent the "smartest" ideas, but hey, to me they show that they actually care about the server and its Future economy.
and they still working on it to have a stable economy in future too.

ofc no server is perfect for everybody. some peoples will always QQ

and Cookie?
i dont care.
hes doing quite a good job there, he really cares about the server and is pretty active.
and even IF the server will die duo him/or other GMs in like 1 year,
So what? im sure ill have a great time playing there and some fkn awesome woe/gvg battles.

i play RO for the woe/gvg fun!
and not for a daily @request /pat /pat GM daycare

i want to remeber epic, huge and massive woe battles against pro guilds, and currently ggRo is the server with the highest chances of actually having those.

every server dies soon or later. id rather play on a awesome server for a short time, than on a wasted and boring server.

and its totally legit if some peoples dont agree here. there are other servers waiting for them :-)

It's really quite interesting that there is such a divide in the ro community - carebears that get upset with names like Cumshot and then others that don't give a f*** about anything other than WoE and go emo if they don't get their way about one thing and quit.

Too bad this server is way too late rate or I would play it just because of the population.

And then while we are on topic of the GM's I like Carrier he was doing a real good job. Injustice ( ironic ) I how ever feel is a really and I mean really Horrible GM

I talked with the members of the party and have made it extremely clear to them that any sitting around and camping/stalking on parties wont be tolerated.
