So someone reported to me about a server having a copy of the casino I have on my server. I went in and took a look myself on BrightsideRO. I don't know who leaked these scripts to them, but im going to rant here cause I am pretty pissed about it.

Before I even get started, I want to give a quick thanks to the following people.

1. Olrox Maps - Thank you for making me such a beautiful map to hold my casino games.

2. Justin Tynne - Thank you for making me some of the Casino Scripts such as Roulette, over and under, and Poker.

3. Saki for the amazing job on custom NPCs.


@ Brightside RO. At least take the time to rename some of the npcs? they all have the same names as mine. RC Lottery? you guys don't even have RC as your currency..

Im going to find out who leaked these scripts and if they are internal staff, I will deal with them properly. As for BrightsideRO, go pay and fund your own original content. If your going to copy and least do a decent job of it.

Sad to see.. people don't come up with original things. Also, it's your fault too.. partially. You should encrypt your files, especially ones especially designed/made for your server.

Also, with the scripts, how is that possible? Unless they're released on rAthena/eAthena/brAthena. Or, if you have more than YOURSELF having access to server files.

By any chance was the one who reported it to you Thuan?. Anyway it was Thuan was the one who gave us the files and gave the impression they was his and said he was admin over at your server. He also was trying to convince BrightsideRO staff to leave and make a server with him Final-RO is what he has called it. Anyway after him trying to convince me to join i said no to him. my guess is hes just whining about stuff to you and other fellow BrightsideRO players  trying to damage BrightsideRO. Anyway you now know who gave us the things , il let the server owner of Brightside know about this topic on here.

No such thing as partially my fault. If people had an ounce of good will inside them, the way it should be, they would find their own and make their own content and not steal mine. If I left my car door unlocked and someone went in and stole something, it is still 100% accountable to the person who goes in and steals it, not to the owner of the vehicle. The invention of locks for vehicles is due to some greedy a****** who we can all point fingers to.

 If you read above, I said it was leaked by someone. Thats why they were able to get a hold of the scripts.

Bud, this is ONLINE, the INTERNET, people steal regardless. Same with in real life. You can't stop someone from stealing regardless. There are a****** out there that will steal and do anything to get their hands on anything. Thus, if you encrypted you really wouldn't have a problem with your files being stolen. I'm not trying to bash you or anything in any way, I'm just personally stating that this is the INTERNET, anything is bound to happen =/

lol, I completely understand that this is the internet etc people steal etc. Look what you are saying haha. You automatically came up with the conclusion that people do that. Im just saying people have lost any kind of decency towards others on the internet and in real life.


@Triper. Absolutely agreed. History shows that people have stolen things and its our responsibility now to keep them secure. Using Locks for lockers etc, pin numbers, passwords. Stealing from others just shows you have no respect towards other. Thats all im getting at.
