I tried to find threads from server forums that she got s*** and trolled out badly; latest one I could find is this:

I don't know how it's relevant, but I don't even go on Despicable. I don't even play RO anymore /shrugs, but the people who moved to Despicable were from JelloRO and if anyone trolled me there, then it would have been them as they did not appreciate some suggestions of mine that were (majority) accepted on jRO.

and it's true. The Simpsons copied, Family Guy copied, American Dad copied, NCIS, CSI, and pretty much every lame drama television show copied one another. Games copy one another, companies copy one another. A truly original idea is difficult to acquire and develop. Most just take already-done ideas and tweak it.

So as said, I don't know what you're complaining about here, and if it's about the copying that every company and person does purposefully or not, then yes, issues.

I see the TalonRO Administrator joking with the UtopiaRO Administrator--there is no issue with the whole "imitation" or whatever you have presumed at all.
Furthermore, events can be copied--there is no copyright for using events from somewhere else. You said that the timing is also what drived you to make this thread... but I don't see what is the problem. "Hey, you're not allowed to use my event on your server D<. Go remove that Weekly Screenshot Event thread of yours!!!" etc. I'm sure that's probable /sarcasm. Many servers do this--they look at what other servers have done and try to incorporate some ideas or modify the ideas for improvement. There is nothing wrong with that at all. Forum Events like the Weekly Screenshot one can be copied o-o. I mean, whoever made the "Guess the Mob" thread event (blur the images and guess what monster it is) should complain over 9000 times now. TalonRO isn't probably the only server with the "Weekly Screenshot" event going--some other servers have it or variations of it. We take ideas and develop on them. That's how the world works.

I think his/her main point was that it's not one, but multiple features that were "imitated". I mean, I too see that it's a bit obvious where uRO got quite some of its inspiration, but eh...can't really be helped.

Well, regardless of one or more, I don't think it raises up huge issues, especially if you two didn't mind the whole situation at all. Perhaps it's the timing of the releases, but in Tynne's post, not all that was proposed in the first post was from your server xD. I don't know the truth behind that, but nobody retaliated so far. As I have stated before, I think it's kind of pointless to bring this all up, but anyways, the person is done with this thread.
