'astral ro' adversting on Lumina Ro

Basically I'm the forum mod on Lumina Ro, just recently I Ip banned a user named 'serveradvertiser' for posting this on our forums

astral ro can't be to good a server if they have to resort to trying to spam msg's like these on other server's, just letting the community have a heads up that this server won't last to long

We just had the same person show up under the same name at SaiphRO. They're probably going to a bunch of servers, although ours is a lowrate so I'm not sure why they would advertise a 10,000x server.

I took a screencap of the one that cropped up on SaiphRO (which is here), but the thread has since been removed.

Somehow I'm not surprised to see that another server got hit. :\

The user registered with the email serveradvertiser(at)hotmail.com, so other server hosts may want to preemptively block that email address.

I see no point in advertising. AstralRO has a population of 150. Its fine where it is. No need to be greedy

Someone was spamming a highrate on my current 7/7/5 and saying 'first 20 dedicated players get cool items'

lol @ trying to find dedicated players who will jump off a server because you spam a link

As a follow-up, I contacted AstralRO's co-admin with copies of what had been posted, and Delta said that the posts were made by a troublesome player that has since been banned.
Very amicable and polite, so I wish them luck in spite of this incident.
