Its been a long time since I did this topic in Rate My Server.

Most people know me as "Olrox" A well known mapper around the eAthena as also now, rAthena community.  I've been involved into mapping since the past 3 years, even, before the release of Browedit to the public, by hexing clients and doing texture edits of pre-existing maps. Though, I have been active into Graphics for public only from the 2009 Year.

As most of you allready know, my services are about 1 thing only: Mapping. From doing simple editions, to make wonderfull and high customizable maps that you may need for your server as an attraction or for your necessity.

Towns, PvP Maps, WoE Castles, Maps recreations, Novices Zone, Events Maps, Porting Maps from other Games inside Ragnarok, those are just samples of what can I do for your server. By using RO resources or even, you can go far by telling me to use original textures and models... to make an unique map that I'm sure your users will love!

My reputation as a mapper is that high, that I'm allways busy with requests. I've been into high demand since March/2011 without stop. From different customers asking me to do an extensive variety of maps that of course I will show you in my portfolio. That speaks pretty well about my skills in this area.

:: Prices ::

• Map Ports from External 3D Games [Estimated Time 4 - 5 weeks]:
  New Service! This service is made as the "Maps from scratch" but with the main difference that is about importing an extensive amounts of custom models from 3d games inside Ragnarok. Actually Supported: Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, Dragonica Online and League of Legends. You can ask for another game if it can be ported.
  
  Map Ports includes also: custom sounds (extracted with the data of your game choosed), custom terrain textures (extracted too from your game to improve the recreation), custom effects, etc.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  In the preview, "the wrathgate" a port of
  one World of Warcraft *.wmo World Model inside Ragnarok
  with Browedit software. Edited and rendered to be
  compatible with the RO graphics engine as also a Sylvannas Windrunner
  statue, that consists of 20 small models
  to compound a solid one model inside RO.
  
  
  
• With this service you can ask for maps from other games, with a high level of recreation, that hasn't never seen before! But... you must know that -Map Porst- is my ultimate service. The effort of porting each model inside Ragnarok is exhaustive. More than the map itself. That's why this category is apart of map scratch. So the prices and their estimated work time of each are too diferent from that category, please continue reading.
  
  
  • Small Maps (up to 100x100 size) = From $50 ~ $70
    
  • Medium Size Maps (up to 150x150 size) = From $75 ~ $90
    
  • Large Size Maps (up to 225 x 225 size) = From $95 ~ $115

  • (+) 50 Model Ports or Less = $80
    
  • (+) Addons = $10 Like Effects (sunlight from the roof, bubble lights, waterfalls, etc) + Sound effects (birds singing, river water sound, wind blowing sounds, etc)
    
    • (+) Indoors = $10 Indoors map, in fact is a map apart of the main one. This price is for only basic indoors like "tool dealer","blacksmith","Inn". 2 Indoors per map.
      
      • (+) Exclusivity for your Maps = Included in the Map Ports for Free
        

• Maps from scratch:
  This are the ones made from a "map sketch", commonly drawed by the client

• Main Towns Edits:
  Like a prontera season modification, etc. This service doesnt includes "whole terrain edits" like, changing the estructure of the map... Just Models & Textures.
  
  
  • Prontera Edits = $40
    
  • Other Towns or Custom Map Edits = $50
    
  • Dungeons Edits = $75
    
• Map Fixes or Addons:
  Maybe you have a map that has an error like, wrong cells, wrong position on some models ... you want it from nightmode to daymode, or you want it to add some effects like waterfalls or something to a pre-existing map
  
  
  • Gat Fixes = $10
    
  • Model Fixes = $10
    
  • Light Fixes = $10
    
  • Add Effects to a Map = $10
    
  • Price fo Gat fixes + Model fixes + Light fixes + Effects fixes = $25
    

Note: All maps includes Minimaps. Also each map is tested into an offline test server before sending it to a customer. All Screenshots during the process of a map are -In Game- SS, not browedit ones. The reason of this, it is because it is better to show the customer how the map looks inside the game. At last, for every map with "effects + sound effects" extra, I give to my clients a preview video of the map after I finished it, so he can hear/see how the map looks with the little extra fee he paid.

:: Work Schedule & Process ::

• You have to pay one half First so I can begin working, and the other half after you have the work ready at 100%.
  
• Only 1 request per customer at the same time.[/i][/i]
  
• I only work from 2 - 3 hours for the same customer per day, no more.
  
• I only ask for my clients 1 thing: to draw the sketch of the map he wants. It is a simple paint square image. This is to be sure that he will have the map he wants with the areas exactly as he needs. Ex. of a sketch --> http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/6116/startareay.jpg
  
• After 3 - 5 days you request a map, I always send to my clients a map preview, that is aprox 25% of the map. Usually it is a corner of the map, so you can see the "feeling" Im seeking for your map (models, textures, etc). At this point you can reject the map, so I will refund the half price you paid at 100%. Or you can ask me to change the whole thing if you really dont like how it is becoming.
  
  • You CAN'T reject a map After I show you the preview and you accept it.
    
  • You CAN'T ask for further refunds after you accept the map review.
    
  • You CAN'T ask for serious changes for your map after I show you the first preview and you accept it. Like, using another sketch, change the terrain texture used in all the map, change the map skin. You can ask for improvements or fixings but always refering the initial preview as a base.
    
  • ]You will receive updates of your map request progress in a time lapse of 3 days. (may have variation accordly of the quantity of work I have)
    
  • I accept Paypal Only.

Maps for sale to the public. Have in mind that almost all my time of mapping is for exclusive custom client requests. So actually Im offering only the maps above, but I will update this part of my topic frequently, every month maybe. To offer more often a high quality map for sale.

Olrox is such an awesome mapper. He was the one who made my Halloween Prontera and Fall Prontera maps. Both of them were nice and captured the reality of each theme. He is into High Quality rather than quantity of maps made and sold. So, it's all worth the wait for a map that you will be proud of.

Sorry that I've been inactive into Rate my server. Sorry, it was because I had tons of work regarding maps. As also I'm more active into rAthena than any other community.

But I'm here now. Please read the whole topic again, since I changed a lot of things on it! ... though you can see the updates above:


Updates

• Added New Service "Map Ports"
• Removed Spoilers. Please refer to the links to see the previews. Why I did this? because there is a limitation of 20,000 characters in the post, that I've reached, so I had to make my topic more compact. Though, I will add photobucket album to each of my maps soon.
• Fixed some Prices. Why I changed the prices? Simple, I was just so much demanded to make a lot of works. I even, had to refuse some requests, because I was full. Even, some customer pays me more just to be in the first position in my queue to work with their requests. All of that made me think about my prices. Also my previous prices were for introducing myself... but dont worry, It was not a big change. Though I'  have some customers that pays about 200$ dollars for a map actually (map ports service), but I will not raise my prices just because those few ones.
• Added all my maps that I was mising... like 8 maps in RMS that I was missing, sorry!.
• Added some rAthena Links, I hope I can add RMS links to a showcase in the respective forum soon.
• Updated Status and available slots to look more simple
• Some minor changes in topic to look presentable

TODO

• Post some of my maps into the showcase of RMS forum.
• Move all images to Photobucket, instead of Imageshack. Since, some Malasyian friends cant see the previews, coz imageshack blocks that range of IPs.

Update

• Added "Community Rating" on each map. This rating is calculated by obtaning an average value of all the ratings that all have posted into eAthena, and rAthena that you can check in each map link.
• Testimonials allready added, just waiting for some customers to allow me to show their name, or contact.
• Added new game supported into the map Ports "Granado Espada".

"Granado Espada is an awesome game that I like too much. With awesome graphics that, at the year it was released (2007) was the best PC graphic game in Korea. Maps are so realistic Like this one and this other one for example.
The followin example (a cannon of "Porto Bello" a dungeon of that game), shows the processing of porting one of those models:

• Covering with imported texture

After that the model is imported into lightwave engine, so after into 3ds and ported into RSM

  About: My second map port. It is a recreation of the icecrown citadel. Models imported in this one: meatwagons, icecrown structures, icecrown rocks, scourge tents (2 variations)etc... a big amount. High intensity lightmaps, so as the feeling of "no sun" and freezing cold on it
