Kiel, useful for SGs?

Is Kiel useful at all for FSK?

In theory yes, but due to the skill nature to auto target the last enemy you "dodged" with Breakfall, it takes at least 0.9~1.2 seconds to "calculate" if you had any Breakfall (That's why when you click without dodging it takes a little time to the skill to show up, just like Asura does), so if you went into a spam of FSK, it would only be effective on targets who would spam Long Range attacks or Magic Attacks, because if they didn't, you would need to keep manual spam, which would once again waste more time into the "calculating" time than on the "Delay" of the skill.

And Kiel wouldn't be useful on TKs due their kicks have almost to none cooldown, and if I remember, they are based on ASPD.

TL; DR: Not really.

See, I was intending to use FSK on the Emperium with Hate on it.

I remember Emperium being immune to skills, or most of them...
But yes, still not useful, you better use Union(SL Skill) and hit it normally, without auto-casts or kicks.

Uh...

Running + FSK with Hate and a lot of Dex + triple TG/ Ifrit Str Rings and Gloom makes it die very, very fast.

Magnum Break doesn't change your element, it just increases your damage.

If you want to break emperiums with an SK, you need union or if you play a high rate, just a high damage / max ASPD possible along with some crit.

No, it DOES fire elemental damage around you, but you get an attack boost of 20% + for a short duration.

Thats just wrong information. From someone who uses it all the time, it does give you a normal 20% attack boost.

true, but the fire ele damage boost it gives you isn't exactly the same as a wep enchantment

Weird... I believe it left a long time ago, but now it doesn't leave any bonus fire damage into your attacks (I remember even having those "Enchant" buff that the sages give to you when I used it.), it might have changed, I'll go into test server to check it
Yeah, I tested it and it does leave a fire damage on your weapon, did using a swordsman with a non-elemental sword (Sword [3]) against a whisper, it let me hit it for a while then I started missing again.
You can go into the test server and test it if you want. Also, you can try using it then going to hit a fire elemental monster like a Horong, it will display no damage.

NEW QUESTION AT HAND: WHICH IS THE BEST HEADGEAR FOR A PVP STAR GLAD? PHAROH AND MAYA PURPLE OR KIEL + MAYA PURPLE?
My buddy tells me I need agi to reduce the after-cast of Running so I can use FSK right after (and get the bonus). Is there an after-cast delay on FSK?

So yeah, I believe that's basically it.

How much equip-armor is too much against Thanatos? 34%?

Oh Sorry.

FSK does not give any bonus, it just debuff your target from Soul Buffs, I believe you're talking about Running/Sprint skill, which does not have any virtually cooldown time. AGI does not reduce after cast cooldown, only on skills that are based on ASPD.
I'm not very good at suggesting equips, so I won't suggest anything. :B
Also, 50 armour is already big enough to get you instantly knocked out, so you better keep between 30~40. For WoE, I can't certainly tell but most people who use Ice Picks and Thanatos Cards go into Emperium Breaking, so you can have a bit more Armour, but if your server allow card buying or there is a great number Ice Picks in player hands, that might not work.

And are you sure about AGI not affecting the after-cast delay and preventing me from using FSK? Certain?

Well, I wanted to get Tao Gunka for PVP, but I need gear to regain what I lost by the -50 DEF and bring it to around 30-40.
As for MDEF, does GTB (it got nerfed to 70%) cover it or can you suggest a bit more mdef equips.

sgs don't need any head gear cards besides from vanberk for damage boost

feather beret is the best, and if you don't use it, you will die from the 10% extra damage you're recieving. thats how useful it is.

edit : with tao gunka, the most defense you'll get is 8 - 10 on a SG.

You wouldn't need pharaoh ever. I can manage my sp easily with only 600 max SP on a 99/50 server, you have a 255 cap, so you could have atleast 3k SP without any int.

Maya Purple won't be needed, because you won't kill cloaking classes anyway. An assassin cross will be your enemy, along with stalkers because of full strip / plagarising whatever they use.

Yes, the most you'll ever get is that much with tao. Using the best gears a SG can get defense wise, I have 67 defense. 19 of this defense is from an equipment set too.

Don't I need Maya Purple to stay away from Sin X Card users and stalkers with bows (High-jump away, come back and FSK them).
I still have Sun Glasses [1] even with the Feather Beret, what card should I put in them?

So I guess 19 defense isn't worth it.

Here's what I got so far:

Ulle's Cap + Maya Purple
Sunglasses + Pharoh
Odin's Blessing (Bonus) + Garm/ GS/ I don't know what to put in here
Manteau + Sin X card/ Deviling (Hey, can I warm users who are hidden and I am standing next to them, hidden as well?)
Boots + Moonlight/ I don't know what to put in here.
2x Str Rings + Double Ifrit Cards

I'm sure you can suggest better things here D:

Yes you can, but your SP will be drained at a giant rate, so you better have some Blue Potions or Grape Juice.

I've only played 99/70 servers in my lifetime of RO, so from that point of view..

Ulle's Cap - Change to either a feather beret or a magni's cap, both +7'd or something
Sunglasses[1] - You could use a maya purple in that case, pharaoh is not needed, especially since you can just carry pots
Odin's Blessing - Fine, but get it +7'd also if possible
Manteau - Fine, but high refine it if possible
Boots - Get another pair with a green ferus card but the +10% HP boost, +8 them
Rings - fine
Stone Buckler - +8 it, thara card, prepare to recieve a nice +5 defense boost along with the set

put gtb or thara in the stone buckler.

Stone Buckler because it offers 13 defense at +4, and 20 defense at +10 with the set, which makes it the best defensive shield in the server when you don't have a valkyrie (and nearly any class can get it to boot)

Magni's cap is pretty useless :x Only for the bonus.

i did say I play 99/70 servers

which are 1x/1x/1x servers

so i've never had the problem of thanatos cards and whatnot cause people don't normally get them

It's pretty rare on this server to get a thanatos card as well (No one has one yet).
