Sprite/Effect: Editing of skills and Sprites

Hi guys. can someone point me to the right direction/guide? i want to edit certain skill in my grf like storm land pro, SG, LOV, MS. is there a list where i can find what the skill name is inside the grf? and what files they contain? coz i dont wanna mess up some sprites that i wont edit. Thanks a lot
