Servers Failing to load.

I have been working all day to set up an updated test server, and now it was looking bright, until it said failed to connect.
I got it just now to let me make a character, and it showed me the server status, then it wouldn't allow me into the character select screen.
Once I restarted it, I got a message saying it was missing 2 dlls, cygwin1.dll, and cygz.dll .
Once I put those into the folder, it gave me this:

Before, it had no issues.
Without those 2 dll's it gives me the missing dll alert.

Head over to BowieBowies topic on the eA Forums for a precompiled SVN - and just grabbed the 2 .dll's you need out of that, you don't need to use his files.

Nope, that is fine - just download The Cygwin DLL Package and place them in your Eathena Base directory.

So its not a case of a missing .dll, but something else.


Hmm even if you upload I will not be able to test it on this machine because of its lack of resources.

Have you tried a fresh eathena install in another directory?

Odd, I've set up 4 servers, and never had an issue like this... well, when in doubt with this kind of issue, I do one of three things...

1 and 2. I retry, often times by making a folder path that has no spaces in it.

3. I spam all of the possible missing items into every folder, AFTER making sure there is nothing missing, or nothing damaged/mislabled.

I highly doubt that'll help, but -shrugs- worse comes to worse, 1 and 2 is probably the best bet... OS's are picky about the dumbest stuff...

well, the server folder is just eAthena. clientside is ZoneRO (temp name).
both should be working to the best of my knowledge (which isn't to be dependent on >.>;.
I have looked at what I could and the login server only needed some plugins, as the folder was missing.
As well as some .conf files.
This is all I get from the log server.

The rest just flashes quickly and closes, so there is no way to get a screenshot.

the login looks fine, and that's about all I've ever gotten from it if I recall correctly. It's the map server taht does most of that text stuff on there, so if anything I'd want a picture of any errors on that... : /
