New tech question

I know one of you can answer this. Where would i look(in the grf i know but more specific hints) for the "spirit sphere" sprite?

Edit: and furthermore, how would i be able to see/edit it. I cant get them to open in photoshop.

Get grf factory from eamirror.skamfroj.net,

Open the grf with Grf factory, exctract all into a separate folder, named Data.
Go into the data folder, edit the sprite, use grf factory to make it a new grf and replace the older one that you didn't edit.

You can also get spr conview from eamirror. With that open your .spr and extract bmp out of them, then recompile your modified bmp into a spr with the same tool.

The spirit sphere spheres are most likely effects.

Just like 99 aura orbs has 2x 2D images in which they are defined by level 99 trans and level 99 non-trans,  then their is programming added to create an effect that would spruce up the image used =3.  Even the swirling effect you see on 99 aura's is just one single 2D image.
