Having Custom BGMs'
« on: Aug 17, 2009, 05:39 pm »
I'm just wondering how to make it work.

I've uploaded my own BGM's in to the BGM folder, their format is MP3. When I change the "mp3nametable.txt" To the music, It won't play when I start the game (Yes, I have BGM on).
I've tried this on 2 servers. One that already had the "mp3nametable.txt", I just changed the names of mp3's i wanted to hear; I only heard the music that wasn't changed. And I compiled it into a GRF that didn't already have one (It didn't work at all).

Another Note:
I game the songs I had customized name. Instead of 01.mp3 i named it C1.mp3. Would that make a differance

Has to fall within a certain bitrate. Use GoldWave to convert them down to a lower bitrate.

I've also noticed that BMG's don't work on certain servers. Is that another file that can be edited in the Data Folder/GRF?

some servers dont have the files in their folders, others press Alt-O and make sure the music is on and turned up.
Proof or it didn't happen.
All server reviews are based on a reviewers experience.
This is how negative server reviews work.

It is. Up and on.

What Files do the server need?
I have the 'mp3nametable.txt'. Is that something that is up to the Owner?
