[Q] about SG blind status.

i tried the TUT of how to remove the blind status of SG from thread of someone here, and it works perfect for me, but badly ADMIN of my server(private server) detected it or someone report it, and ADMIN patched the server..

the problem is I can't remove the blind status again, i tried to do the TUT again but it doesn't work anymore..
I'm thinking that the ADMIN hide it somewhere on GRF file, so i pasted the white02.bmp and full.tga in all the folders inside the GRF file but nothings happend again..

hmmm. is there anyone know how get to remove the blind effect again on my server? please..  or anyone that have idea that what did the ADMIn put on GRF file so that the blind effect cant remove anymore...

Some servers consider the use of client or grf modifications like that cheating. That seems to be the case of your server, so perhaps you aren't supposed to remove the blindness effect at all.

You might want to learn to live with it.

There could be a grf in the folder with a higher priority..
check if there's a data.ini in your gravity/RO folder, post the text that's inside.

@ Relics, yah there is a data.ini at the folder of my Ro server.. take a look at this

0=Drodata.grf
1=Dpal.grf
2=data.grf
3=sdata.grf

Open Drodata.grf and Dpal.grf, repeat the proces for removing blind effect on both these grfs.

Did u try deleting that char and make a new one? Cuz one of SG's skill can cause blindness (the one that increase aspd, if im not wrong)...... Or reset ur skill

Once you added a skill point in Demon of Sun, moon star you will be blind forever.
You can go and reset your skill or just find a way to remove it in the data folder of the server?

yah i know that the demon causes blind if you make it lvl 10.
my point is to remove the blind effect even if i have that mastery of demon.

I removed the blind effect before.

Well one way of removing the blind effect of the demon skill of Star Gladiators without being detected is by means of using GRF extractor (Which could be downloaded here http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=download_tool )
Now you just need to extract the files from the blind.grf (download here http://www.mediafire.com/?z86io3c2oi56y22)
Put it on your RO folder.
or to make it clear (Sorry for my bad english ^^; ) put fullb.tga and white02.bmp file to this location (YourROFolder)\data\texture\effect



Now you can see it more clearly

nothing will make you emo and hate everything like perma blind. whether a GM wants their players like that is up to them...
