Need help on becoming an Alchemist

I've done the 1st 2 quests needed to become an alchemist.  But once I talk to Van Helmont, he tells me to go talk to Molgenstein, in geffen, to learn more about mixing potions.  Once I go and talk to Molgenstein, he just laughs like crazy and says hes nvr been the same since the experiment (or something like that).  He tell me nothing about mixing potions whatsoever.  So then, when I go back to Van, he just says "You didnt go talk to Molgenstein did you!  Go talk to him and come back once you do!"  and then the process just repeats itself...its really making me mad, can someone please help?

I think you might need to do the Counteragent-Mixture Quest first.

which just makes the quest even longer >.<


anyway ya Rekenber's right, just do that quest then head back and talk to him and you can continue with your alche quest
