What stats should I be looking at for Lif to make a GOOD one? Not decent, not poor, not crappy, but good.

I have a calc', but I'd just like to estimate before spam-creating homos.

Same with Amistr please <3

Scribbles

I didn't think your stats effect your homun

QuoteHomunculus have their own set of stats apart from their masters, these will have a set amount upon summoning and will vary as it level. With each level, a Homunculus will receive a certain amount points to each stat (STR, INT, DEX, AGI, VIT, LUK) depending on which type of Homunculus. These stats are invisible under the Homunculus stat window (Alt+R). The Homunculus's ATK, MATK, HIT, CRITICAL, DEF, MDEF, FLEE, and ASPD will be visible. To calculate the Homunculus's stats, use the following equations. The Homunculus also gains one skill point for every three levels. Unlike status points, one can apply these to whichever skill one would like.

I'm asking.

What stats should I be aiming for when the homunculus is 99.

I know about Vani, since I've played with it for three years. I know when it's trash and when it's not, but I haven't tried out much with Amistr / Lif and not really wanting to waste millions of Zeny trying to find it out.

For example, I usually aim for 130-150MATK at Level 30 for Vanilmirth.

What kind of MATK am I aiming for with Lif? What kind of VIT am I aiming for with Amistr?

@homstats / @hominfo. I'm not talking about my Creator's stats.

O.O Let me make it more clear, since you didn't get what Scribbles quoted:

You don't have any power on homunculus stats. They simply come with their level. Vanilmirth had that MATK at that level because he had set amount of standard INT. Not because you wanted him to.

I think what he/she means is that their stat growth is a bit randomised, i.e. not every Vanilmirth will end up with the same MAtk, and wants to know what values to expect for a decent one.

Anyway, the iROwiki page has the average stat growths. With those you can calculate what your Lif should have at a specific level and then decide if it's a good one or bad one.

For Amistr I would say about 190+ flee and 160+ def (without Adamantium Skin and Defense skills active).

I've only ever owned 1 amistr with 180 base def and tbh it's not as good as it sounds.
A high flee Amistr with 150ish base defense is a bit more useful imo.

Thank you Cookie and Leo @.@ I don't know how much clearer I could've gotten after the second time... (though I admit, the first post wasn't too clear)

iRO Wiki has something like that? I'll go and see then.

I like little Amistr sheep. I don't plan to PvP, just tank for others / make pots. I'm using Doddler's Calc' and so far, not doing so well. Trying to get high HP / STR / AGI (Flee&ASPD) / DEF.

Probably a long-shot :) I don't even know what the max is for them! I keep getting around 63DEF, 2.9k HP, 142ASPD, and 130ATK at Level 27, and according to Doddler, that's sucky.

I've searched the Wiki and can't find anything about average homo stats.

Here's my current Amistr:

Doddler Quick Stats

It rates on Doddler:

Level: 73
HP: 8795 [Very Good]
SP: 176 [Abysmal]
STR: 94 [Excellent]
AGI: 75 [Excellent]
VIT: 88 [Good]
INT: 19 [Good]
DEX: 68 [Good]
LUK: 56 [Average]

Def' a Keeper.

Check their individual pages. It's in the little info box to the side.

Triper

For a lif you should want one with 180+ aspd, 220+ flee, 400+ atk, 800+ matk, 140+ def and 10k+ HP and this all without Mental Change on.
For an awesome lif you really should get one with 185+ aspd and 1k matk, that thing is a beast pwning with melee, it's like a 190 aspd sniper with cart terminator as skill damage.

Also, ignore a bit doodler and the hom calc they have at iro, that thing fails a lot because eathena randomizes the status and don't work like aegis, it's only good to make you've an "idea" of the future and possible thing you will end with and where to focus when aiming a good hom.

Usagimimi

I went for Amistr, and got one with >Average everything, except SP which is Abysmal.

Not going to be picky, though. I have >800 Blue Pots.

http://rode.doddlercon.com/db/homcalc/statcalc.php?calc&type=3&level=99&hp=11811&sp=245&attack=454&mattack=40&hit=185&crit=25&def=165&mdef=13&flee=198&evolution=14:7:1:3:9:3:1:0&skin=5

Final Score (after evolution):

HP: Very Good
SP: Abysmal
STR: Very Good
AGI: Amazing
VIT: Amazing
INT: Very Good
DEX: Good
LUK: Good

It gained 9VIT on evolving, but measely for other stats. It's too bad I only got 3AGI - 4, and I would've had 164ASPD.

You really got lucky that your homu didn't go after luck. So far every homunculus I've had put its main points into luck. As long as your sheepy hits high vit and agi, its perfect. ^^ With Lif, the good stats you may want are int and agi. She does hit a ton but she is slow-ish so even if she has super high int, if she hits rather slow it won't be good. Now if you get a Lif with high int and vit, that's also a good keeper. A lif can almost take the position of sheep, almost.
