Does the skills of  the homunculus use up the skill points of the alchemist or does it have its own?

How do you evolve a Homunculus? Because my Filir(bird) is still in its lowest form(the one that looks like a tiny chick) and its already level 30...

You feed it a Stone of Sage, when it becomes Loyal. It becomes loyal at 911(?) feedings between 11~25. If you server has @hominfo, it will tell you it's intimicy.. otherwise start counting? Lol.
