Help With CT WS Please :)

Hi!

I need help with a CT WS! Server I'm playing on is a 50/50/25 server so MVP cards are sorta out of the question. Basically i'm a noob with WS and i'm looking for any guides/advice/help with a CT one. I ready some stuff here in RMS and all I found were around 180-185 CT WS. Is there any way to get it to reach past that and still have enough HP to tank sonic blows and asuras? The items I can get such as HoTB and Horns, but it's the build I'm confused with.

Having that in mind, you should focus into the max reduces possible without saying no to high atk as you can get since you need to tank to atk since CT has 1 cell range.
WS key atk is CT and to spam you need full card and aspd and atk high as possible since dmg is based on your atk but don't forget that even if you're limited to 1 skill to attack, you should have other resources as a status weapon for cart revo or to aspd poke or to abuse of reflect physical dmg gears[thorn shield+hotb/valk manteau], some status armors to atk based things and some extra garments with -30% cards along with a smokie/horong/marine sphere and to know when to use mammonite ;3, it's still awesome in some cases even if many say it sucks[mammonite > CT with +9 KVM weapon for example lols[not much but it wins] and you pretty much will have to use it on quag to kill]. Smokie will be your best friend, trust me.

As a dmg weapon, the best is a Combat Knife with link because it will give always a constant dmg based on how high is your atk and gives -10% demi-human dmg 8Dor just get mad and get a Giant Axe/Hurricane Fury with Samurai Specter.
Alternatives with link are thin blade with zippers[185 atk and cool extra aspd] and mes with zippers[200 atk].
Alternatives without link are Glorous Cleaver or Mace at +6 or higher[130 atk,+% aspd and slaughter bonus - [Slaughter] Lv 1: Increases final physical damage bonus by (Upgrade - 4) ^ 2. Both are the same in terms of dmg, the only difference is that Axe gives more aspd but needs Weapon Perfection all the time on and Mace no but Mace sucks in terms of ASPD. In case of no KVM BG and if there is in your server  - Berchel Axe with zippers[200 atk]. If there is nothing of this at your server - the old Orcish Axe with zippers[195 atk] or a morning star with zippers[170 atk]
You may ask - but mes isn't the same as the Berchel Axe? It's but mes is lv 4 and that means more dmg from upgrades.

As in terms of status weapon, you will want some Axe[4], you don't need to care about the weapon atk or weapon perfection in this case, just think about slots and possibilities like this cases:
- Savage Babe is mostly to stun stupid no-anti-stun HWs and some no vit champs[I would ignore this and just go with Hammerfall but up to you]
- Magnolia is awesome. Most of the time you will want it to proc on Sinxs so they can be visible when you don't have Maya Purple or Box of Sunlight since most of them go high agi and have low vit so they curse like mad[also cool for other classes since curse cuts atk too aside mobility]
- Familiar cards are cool too but in here depends on the server because in some they make you lag like MAD and want to make you scream of pain because of that and in others nop and suck a bit buuut they cut hit too so it's a cool think vs some sinx/snipers or fo champs, depends on the server tbh and most of the time isn't that good to use :S[if you want to boost the chance to proc blind, chance to a glitering jacket for +5% blind chance :3]
- Metaller cards are awesome vs low vit chars such as dps hw, some creators that don't have green pots/royal jellies, even some champs sometimes lol.
- Marinas are cool too but this need to be used wisely, 99% of the time you won't use them but when you stop a gr user and you check it by normal ct dmg by swapping some dmg, bullseye, someone will eat a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig ct in the next hit[or not if they're smart to swap garments and reduce a big portion of dmg ):] or just make it to have a friend champ make a K.O. 8D
- Maero of Thantos[not exactly a status card but still works like that] - This s*** is P R O, you will love it even if it's painful to get 4 to use, still is P R O, people will hate you for decrease agi their buts but there is a simple prob with this: Skills don't proc skills so you're pretty much confined to use aspd on this or rely on reflect gears.
- Plankton is nice vs low int chars like vit whore champs or vs some crap sb sinx, they attack, they got a UPS!
If you've acess to link and a lord of the death card, get a thin blade with a golem and use it there for the fun 8D
As an extra ok thing vs some SW WHORES, you may want to get a Guillotine and just pray for a coma+sw down. I'm 100% against this since is playing too cheap and involves no skill  but whatever... And btw, even if CT doesn't pass status, Coma is a special status so it works with CT but just don't be a stupid Guillotine default user for everything because of the atk of it -.- Remember the Key Words!!

For status armor[don't forget that this procs on ATK Based dmg so it won't work with AD, FA, etc but will work for SB, CT, SBK[yes it works, tested it], etc] you will want a:
- Sasquatch for non-ed/marc times, you may not see any uses or lots of them but it has it uses when you're CTing FTW and the user swaps for a elemental armor to cut the dmg he takes from you.
- Pest Dark Frame[you're not a hw/creator], this is a cool card to have but it has a little bit of a problem, if the server is made of prosgood players, forget it, you barely won't be able to stone people since most of them know how to swap/default to ED/Medusa according situations and CT is kinda potable =|
- Rybio or Majoruros, both give pretty much the same, one depends on vit tho so up to your build, most of the time this is used vs SinX even if it depends on the server because in some, they are smart and use an agi build with anti-stun, in others they go as prosnabs and go with max dmg possible and no reduces at all to nothing and think they can kill everything before they die.

As a build, your objective is to get 186 or more aspd, atk 400+ if with CK/kvm weapon, 600+ with other weapons. There are lots of ways to get that aspd and all depend on what you're facing:
- You can use thorn combo+medal of honor for about the same as 2 medals in terms of aspd but with a free slot for smokie/horong/marine sphere for example.
- You can use valk shield with a seal of continental guard+medal to get 186 aspd[is the min you should get to have a decent ct spam rate] and tank HWs or just change to Glorious Ring+Waterdrop brooch with smokie with valk shield to eat the dmg and get near to hammerfall the HW if you see he/she stuns to help your team or give you a turn around.
ATK talking, check first if the KVM/Medal acess of BG %atk in your server works with CT[if it's a batkrate script], if it works it's easy to get that atk I said without loosing that much stuff :3
If you want to have some fun, Tomahawk throws with Medals is lol ;3

Some extra tips:
If you want to have something balanced, you will always have to sacrifice STR for some agi/vit/dex. Don't go without DEX, try to get at least 185 as minimum hit, if you need hit, get a cursed hand for swap which is also cool for his effect or abuse status like the stun of hammerfall.
190 aspd is possible but you won't get it without sacrificing valk shield which in some occasions is bad to do.
Remember to swap a lot vs different types of dmg.
Thorn shield is cool to use a lot of times, it has better def then valk vs physical dmg which I doubt people will use the elements that it cut.
Reflect gear dmg with a Ring of Flame lord isn't cool if you think to use it for the atk, auto-cast skills stop you from using your owns since you enter into the delay phase of the skill used.
HIDE is a nice friend, learn to hide dodge asuras. It's painful as s*** but will give you looooooooooots of wins.
Hammerfall is cool, 70% stun 3x3 cells > CT 50% but you never miss with CT and even if you "miss" you give 20 dmg per CT with a chance to stun so choose when to use each one for stun and remember, if the dmg you see isn't 20 and is lower, your element was found, switch it ;3 and if it's higher he's using the opposite.
If you need some def/hp to tank a SB, Bradium Shield do exist and they do help!!

Having this in mind you can get a WS with 16k hp, going to 20k with Diabolus Gear and a Glorious Armor[which vs pottable dmg isn't that bad when you don't have elemental armors or can't guess it fast enough] and high VIT, 190 aspd saying bye to Valk Shield elemental reduces which isn't a big of a prob in some occasions and still have awesome atk :3

I suppose you are still gonna have a lot of reduction gears like FB, Glorious Suit, Raydric/Noxious Garment, and etc. How do you have such high atk? Our server is Aegis, so I don't think the KVM/Medal of BG %atk works with CT.

I tried equipping atk gears like GmG, BsB, Giant Whisper, CK and etc... and my Atk shows 332+28 in my status window. Is it because the bonus attack from 130 Str not showing up on the status window?

STR shows up. I guess he's counting all those buffs and foodstuff available, they can really skyrocket the ATK.

I totally dunno how I made it but probably Sarin is right on that since I used to play BGs where +7 STR food was available. Don't forget also porcellio swap! It's not ideal but you can actually use it vs some people.

Besides Str Food, Aloevera, BG Tasty Pink Ration, and Box of Resentment(I believe these are the ones obtainable on iRO -- pre-renewal), are there other items which buff atk/str that I'm not aware of? Thanks.
