[Non-Renewal] Creator: PvM Gears

So, I'm playing in a HR to find out the a good PvM set for my Creator, so I know what to hunt exactly when I go to low/mid rates.
I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.



Cards:

Upper HG: Marduk
Middle: Dark Illusion
Lower: None
Armor: Tao Gunka (alternating Marc, ED, depending on monster type)
Weapon: 4 AK
Shield: Alice
Shoes: Dark Lord
Garment: Raydric
Accessory: 2 Beelzebub

Any tips guys? I kinda suck on the stats so it ended up like that, the server has god items and I have them though, not using them because I know those are hard to get items on low/mid rates.

Assuming pre-Renewal and expensive stuff here :

Cut the AKs, get either a tank weapon or an INT weapon (AD isn't affected by damage cards).

Have an Orc Hero headgear switch if you're really going to have low VIT. Myself, I'd personally drop STR and just dump everything into VIT, since AD isn't boosted by ATK (or MATK, for that matter). I'd change Tao Gunka for Ghostring and keep the other switches, Tao Gunka isn't going to save you from anything you need saving from - Ghostring will at least block Earthquake.

I really, really hate Alice. Have an entire set of shields, keep Alice in the Kafra and use it if and ONLY if you're doing Thor's (and maybe Thanatos). Everything else seems fine~

Bios don't need str at all for AD build.
Use alice if you're hunting bosses. Remember that alice will increase damage from non-boss monsters by 40%.
AK isn't gonna help with anything. Like Fruit Pie said, get int cards. And also like Fruit Pie, drop str and put in on vit.
I think Kiel can also help with AD spam. That is if you can get it.
Tao is only useful for PvP/WoE/BG.

It's pretty much what Fruit said. Here is some extra advice/opinion.

Ditch DI/DL[well, I understand that it's for the fast cast but ...], autocast will block your ad spam because of the delay when DL triggers. Ditch both and get a green ferus or matyr[+10 variants should be cool too since +10 seems easy to get there? I like the def, just that even if a +0 for more hp is fine too] and get a +int card for the headgear or even an Orc Hero to prevent stun, as Fruit said. Kiel is also good as any -aftercast gear for more dps if you don't have bragi.

If you don't have probs with the usage of green pots, ditch the Marduk and get an int or kiel card. Silence is occasional and not all the mvps do that so you can always just equip it for specific MVPs.

Why the -80% cast? Either get -100% or just go full dex gears[and you don't really need 150 dex for MVPs, 120-140 is enough to kill them even if more dex means faster kills plus less problems with cast stop during the mid of the kill ;o]. If you don't have -100% you can't abuse of the 97vit/99int/screw you anti-stun factor, just that :s[I would still not use it because of the autocast screwing your dps but that's a personal thing]

Alice depends on the mvp, for some it will just screw you more then help like if the slaves hurt like sh*t.

Tao won't save you from nothing from MVPs except if you pair it with Deviling and still, normal hits will still hurt a bit with the negative/low def that you will have aka it will just let you die faster. Get instead a GR/Mineral/Peco Peco/Angeling/elemental cards/elemental carded armors/whatever it suits your needs.

PS - AD dmg is just your int vs monster's vit at pvm. Higher values of any of the variables means higher damage.

I mean since you said this will mainly be for Low Rate or Mid Rate. Let's be real it's not that easy to get a Kiel card there. Since you won't be able to get a Beelzebub card as well I'd say replace one of the Orlean's Glove[1]. With a Medal Of Honor http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?iname=2725&page=item_db&quick=1&isearch=Search it has a good effect considering it's a Low rate or Mid Rate. For the other accessory get an Orlean's Glove with a Zerom for better cast. If you plan to PvM with a Creator I suggest removing your weapon AK cards do not affect Acid Demonstration removing your weapon also gives you faster cast, etc. Perhaps switch Valkyrian Manteau [1] for Nydhorgg's Shadow Garb [1] if you can get it in your server. I'm not the best with PvM more player vs player type, but I hope this can help.

Well, it depends on what mid rate type[some do have easy ways to get mvp cards] is but for sure I did missed that "HR for a low/mid" part >_>

Let's see then, if you're going to join one where mvp cards are hard to get, you will probably go the normal route then:

80-90 dex base, 99 int, leftovers on vit or 99dex/int/leftovers on agi or vit and use homunculus to tank enough time to kill.
Weapons still apply what everybody said.

Gears are to be focused on +int, get some white and blue pots and green pots[you don't want to have a painful slow kill because of a stupid silence =P] and just adapt to needs on the armors/shields/garment part.

If you want to go cheap on the armor/shield/garment, just get a +3 int something armor and add an Evil Druid[+1 Int!] there, will be good enough for garm/stormy knight and enough for most of the others AD targets as a good start. You may want a dokebi if you want to go on mistress/drake[yeah, swordfish is better vs drake's waterball but is always another card to get ;s This should be +/- fine vs drake anyway along with a valk shield].

Get a nox or a raydric as a garment depending how you see the damage hitting you from the mvps. If you can get a Proxy, as Incredible says, as a garment, even better. You want to survive the most time possible to kill the mvp =P

Shoes: some variants +0 should be good enough most of the time or just get a Tidal as a cheap start[wool for the combo as a garment] and later aim for something better as a Proxy plus Diabolus Shoes.

Shields: Alice is good but you may want to get at least a bigfoot/khalitz/teddy bear for most of the mvps, I think you can ignore a bit the others since most of the important mvps to ad are probably from this races[well, there is always the Hodremlin cheap works for everything edition in case you want to go just for one card, I guess but -15% isn't really the same as -30% ...]

If you want to go for more dps, aim for a +3 sprint mail+sprint shoes+sprint ring. Reduces the after cast delay a big bit so it may help you a big time if you are aiming to go solo.
