ok the stats are DEX and INT
...yah its correct DEX and INT but just let your DEX up to 140 if you don't have Clip of Bigmouth..! then Maximize the INT then the leftovers is all for VIT ok? thats all..! about the Clip of Bigmouth if you have 2 of it you will have 30% x 2 decrease casting time..! so you can reset stats if you have 2 and try to estimate how many DEX do you need so you will have no cast or auto-cast as other said! then you can put the rest on INT and VIT! then items recommended for mage Spell flow Clip so if your casting even the fiends(enemies) will attack you! your casting will not be disturb..! especially if you still have long casting time..! well thats all i can help for now..!
For Mage, I like to go PURE Int (no Dex whatsoever), and level in Ice Dungeon 1 (ice_dun01) on Siromas.
They're very good exp, and are non-aggressive and non-cast sensor, so at about level 60-ish, with no equip, you can one-shot them with a single Lightning Bolt. Fly Wing if you see anything that's NOT a Siroma on your screen, though.
