The last thread on it was 2 years back -___-

So, what are good leveling spots for a Bolter type sage now? Irowiki recommends New World and Dimensional Gorge (both of which my server doesn't have), and also Goats with 2xSiromas, fwalling in Prisons and Soul Striking Anubis with Banshee cards.

Any ideas on which of the latter 3 would be the fastest solo (no multi-client)?

I need some suggestions on leveling equips too. I have:
Lich Wand (Trans only)
Wizardry Staff
Spiritual Rings
Both Survivor's
Moonie Dag
A few of the different EXP shoes.

Suggest full eq sets for leveling if possible, thanks.

And the last question would be, does 2 Banshee cards stack? For example, one in an Ulle's and the other in glasses.

XileRo is the only HR I know that has a reasonable PvP system. I did watch the RWC like you said, all I see is people spamming the room like every other gang fight there is in RO.

Sarin

I see no reason why Banshee cards shouldn't stack. They seem to be kind of +% dmg cards just like Hydra, only on some skills.

I doubt fwalling would be very effective. It is mobbing skill, but the DPS sucks too bad. My guess would be that Anubis are fastest, BUT the place is often too crowded so you might head for Goats. Or another place to level is using Thunderstorm on Seals.

Anyway...equip. Well well...unless your server has noticeably higher drop than exp rate, I don't think that dedicated leveling sets are good...you'll spend more time getting the stuff than actually leveling. Generally...I'd go for Principles of Magic [2] for weapon, it is nontrans, dropped by Mavka. Boots are exp, otherwise....what you should go for from equip is in this order: delay reductions, int dex cast time reductions matk, sp recovery. And take a Vitata card along, you might need it.

Specifically, for Anubis I'd recommend taking Bathory card against their dark soul strike.

Relics

Err, tested with 5 banshee cards.. it certainly did more damage then just 1.

I've seen lots of official players using Vertical fwall to train, and even MVP, though. Solo MVP in fact.

For example, there was one of a RSX VFW which was actually quite fast. Only a few minutes were taken to kill it.

Weapons, hmm. That book doesn't really seem superior to Wizardry staff + spiritual ring though :x

Thanks for the other suggestions, I'm already aware of them though.

Well, the advantage of that book is that it is just onehanded, not taking both hands and accessory slot. So you can use for example two siromas and shield with reductions.

fluidin

Yeah, dmg with 2 siroma cards will ultimately be higher than whatever MATK bonus the wiz staff could give.

Thanks for the suggestions, keep 'em coming.

dirtbag

how bout siroma's with quad hill winds?

fluidin

siromas are a b**** to mob. so it's pretty ineffective.

any ideas whether thunderstorming seals or HD-ing hill winds would be faster?

mahawirasd

moscovia hands down.

exp per mavka or per leshij is not spectacular, but it's an easy map with loads of spawns and crazy respawn rate. Their Mdef is also pitiful, making it an amazing place for magic users...

PS: banshee stacks, but overall soulstrike damage is still quite pitiful imho as most undeads die more easily from fire based attacks (especially if you mob them and lead them to your FW)...

Sarin

Well, SS has a damage bonus agaisnt undead. With multiple Banshee cards, it will become quite effective especially if you manage to get some delay reductions.
