Actually two.  What is the formula for create converter success chance (it is not listed on RMS)?

When you take the "Create Converter" skill, do you normally need to select which type of converter, OR is that only with the "elemental change" skills?  IE are you normally able to make all four types of elemental converters with the same sage.

This is to end a very silly discussion thread elsewhere, so please be patient and answer, i am sorry, i am irritated with this to.
The most dangerous thing a GM can do is to play NPC combatants as if they have brains, goals, and the desire to remain alive.

Success rate is on eA 100%. No matter what stats.

When creating a converter, just like creating a potion, a list of converters possible to make with items in your inventory is displayed. You can make all 4 kinds, as long as you have mats.

Sarin is dead on with this. Though I think a few years back it use to be 30% no matter what nothing affected it.

  Will the donors complain? maybe, but they aren't what run my network, I run it, and so does my blood and sweat.

It seems to be much higher now, because each time I make converters I get 100% on iro chaos.

Just a note:

It still fails on some old AEGIS servers.

XileRo is the only HR I know that has a reasonable PvP system. I did watch the RWC like you said, all I see is people spamming the room like every other gang fight there is in RO.

ok, thank you all again...I hate having to ask this of you, i know it sounds Noobish, but there are those who refuse to believe it works that way, so i need proof.

Converters work two ways. Any character can simply use it like any other usable. This will change their weapon element on the converter's one for a while, 1 minute I think. Just like short endow, but they don't have an icon.
Second way is only for sages. The NPC that gives you create converter skill can also teach you one more. You can choose one of four possible. Each of these skills will use the converter to change target monster's armor element to chosen one for a while. Does not work on players, and I dunno if it works on bosses.

case SA_CREATECON: // Elemental Converter Creation
make_per = 100000; // should be 100% success rate
break;

is the src(source) code for the skill. If they still debate it, tell them to learn RO.
