Ret-RO is the premier pre-Trans server. The server strives to capture the experience of Ragnarok Online from back in the days around the Yuno Episode and far before the introduction of the Transcendent Classes; doing away with many of the Custom NPCs, Renewal Features, and Commands for Players to mirror the experience on an official server from the time period. Ret-RO makes use of old items, monster spawns, and maps as well and looks to keep balanced with more accurate game mechanics and without any overly powered donation items. Extended Classes are not available on the server and Dual Clienting is Not Allowed.
While the server looks to keep a certain nostalgia factor, we aren't against inclusion of features available from later time periods in the game. Recently for example, a modified WoE: SE was enabled on the server in addition to WoE: FE and other features may also come into play in the near future. While such features or modified features will only be added where it is deemed that they won't negatively impact the game play the server wishes to strive for, players should be content in knowing that they won't be bored.
