Ethereal-Revenge

I know some topics exist already about Ethereal Revenge, but most of them are old and didn't want to resurrect them.

I don't know if anyone remembers this server or if anyone who played it is still kicking around. I am Pi the former administrator of Ethereal Revenge...was just wondering if anyone I might have known back then is still playing Ragnarok Online? I'm not, and I have no intentions of coming back, it was fun while it lasted, but onto bigger and better things I suppose.

1 semi-successful server and 1 (IMO) failure of a try at a come back. Sorry it didn't work out, but I had fun and hope at least a few of my old players did too!


As for people back in the day, I talk to konni (from the first run) not very much, mostly through his brother. Last I heard he was addicted to WoW.
Lady Eternal and me chat every few months I guess, she has a new job, new husband and is doing well.
I still chat with mizumi on MSN weekly (she was one of the artists, if anyone remembers).

Haven't heard from any of the other players much to be honest.

Wow, Ethereal Revenge.. I just nostalgia'd >_>

Yes, I did play eRO, and to be honest, it was the server I enjoyed the most mainly because of the friendly community and of the guild competition, especially the good old DG vs OF feud. The OCA economy was a little effed up tho, but that's the one and only flaw I can bring up, really... No offense, but I can't believe how you consider the old eRO as "semi-successful", this server was really unique.

Grimming with my sinx @ abyss, the fun times Pking at bio, sitting in payon with that special someone... those were the days. Unfortunately, I lost contact with most of my eRO buddies, except for a few juppon/ST members (and by a few, I mean roughly 3..) and irl friends so if you might of known Elemental Dragon, feel free to PM me.

I remember the good old days, when many switched from discovery to play revenge. I think my lord knight's name was fast-sheep. some things I remember is Pi wearing that damn galapago hat, at least i think he did. and when this paladin who i think was duke godfrey dropped all his godly equips and i couldnt get any of them lol. GTB +10 shield, and others. this was early on where he was prob the only one who had GR and all the other good stuff.

Ethereal-Revenge was actually the very first private server I played on, and met most of my recent friends on. <3

Hahaha... Ethereal revenge.. i was just talking with a buddy about ragnarok and he sent me this link.. you may know him as chinostab. In Ro i was known as "Tehpro" and Early in game before all the MVP's i was known as Mercanary... pally class. I've been gaming every now and then... trying new stuff out, after Ro i spent some time with lineage 2, then WoW (DIDN'T last long) Aion then League of legends. Best memory of ro.. Being leader of Eclipse and actually having an awsome clan full of actives I wasn't known by alot in game cause i liked to do my own thing, just not get involved with the in game drama haha.. But yeah missed the ERo days, had tons of fun.. Thats about it.. gaming, college, other hobbies.. nothing interesting really. Let me know if Ero ever comes back up, even if its in 20 years.. it'll be fun to give it a go again. (Even if it dosn't last long.) People i still talk to from that server.. ICEE... Muguahl.. Tuan (forgot his in game..) and uhm Monkeyrawr (think thats what his ingame was) and Einstien =P Chinostab of course.. and i useto talk with Moonie every now and then.

Oh god.. It's been way too long.. More than 4 years.. I was Mitsurugi - Assassin Cross ; Kenshi - Sniper ; Kenshi-X - Champion. Or simply, Mizumi's cousin.
That was the 2nd private server I played, it was amazing. I played from the start til' the end. That's how attached I was on that server.


What are you doing now? Well now, I'm in year 10. Trying my hardest, seems to be working. Still play RO every now and then but I can't seem the find the 'right' one like Ethereal Revenge.

Got any memories to share? I remember that unicorn horn bug that gave people the sprite of Ethereal Wings. Everyone went crazy and payed a LOT to get their hands on a unicorn horn. I remember the release of Donation items, which sadly ruined Revenge's economy along with OCAs. I also remember the release of these maps: Juperos, Abyss, and Lighthalzen. May I just add, those maps really helped me a LOT to reach 200. I remember ALL the guild wars that happened in the beginning til' the end betweens these guilds; Dream Guardians, STI, O n - F i r e, Sakura Taisen, Senshuken/Ascension X, ~Metamorphoze~, and Revelations and so on.. I can go on forever talking about this server, it was the best server I've ever played in.

I remember you banning me forever because I told players in Prontera that there would never be homuncs. I WAS SO RIGHT TOO!

I could probably rant on forever. I remember the constant feud between One Winged Angel, KnightofRedemption and myself.

I remember Revelations vs Dream Takers becoming On Fire vs Dream Guardians becoming Sakura Taisen vs Dream Guardians with... some steel wolves and justice league in there.

I remember warps to the top of Thanatos tower and how being in lhz3 alone wasn't suicide.

But mostly I remember you banning me.

Wow! The old server is not semi-success, it was a successful server. Its just that players here are getting old. Though they love the server but people grow and need to face real word.


Back then I was 17 yrs old when I played Ethereal, I played woe with my Guild BadBoys. I enjoyed the days playing it. I met my recent friends because of the friendly community. I really miss Ethereal. The memories are still in our hearts ^^.. Sorry for being kinda dramatic..
