DuskRO players?

Anyone who used to play DuskRO pre-wipe / after wipe?

I played DuskRO a lonnnggg freakin' time ago o_o Like, a long time ago. Two years? Something like that.

I was there for a few days and then the server was abandoned xD It was still online, but completely abandoned. Didn't the owner get addicted to WoW or something?

I played ages ago as Ethros a pally, till corruption became blindingly obvious then I quit.

I knew Naru and Rawr personally (corrupt gm and her fanboy b****)

Corruption was big when they were there but whatever. I might play if they ressurect with a high rate server

Yusifer, the head GM of DuskRO DID abandon that incredible server to play WoW. Spoke to them briefly ingame but didn't feel like bringing up Dusk since I know they'd never bring it back.

I played on DuskRO Emerald from '07-'08 on my sniper, Smokie and my biochem, Opium. I've played on over 50 other servers and DuskRO was without a doubt my absolute favorite. I mainly played solo, doing the custom hat quests, but the PvP was incredible.

The server went realllly downhill around summer '08 when they wiped. They made the rates around 25x, added races like the Aven, etc. Was angry they wiped at the time so despite playing around for a week or so with an Assassin, I left and never came back. Started to regret it when they closed down for good; a rate nerf wasn't -that- bad. 

Most of all, I miss the GMs sitting around Old Payon turning people into monsters and the (mostly) friendly community there. I'll never forget it.

I am in the process of making a new server though finally. I have more time, a much better and smaller staff and have quit WoW around ~5 months ago :3.

My apologizes in bumping an old thread, but it's crazy to actually hear from the head GM after so long! And yes, I was directing that comment at another poster, lol. I am still interested if you ever decide to introduce another RO server, even if it is not exactly like the old one. I thought DuskRO was coordinated and run very well, and this is coming from someone who spent a very long time on official servers. Cheers!

Jade did run a really good server.   Until she abandoned us for WoW.  *shakes fist at Jade!*   I was like the lone GM on it for quite a while.  But, we all had fun till the very end though.

But, I've got an itchin to play RO once again and have started playing on www.woon-ro.com if anyone cares.  It's a nice little mid-rate server.  I do hope Jade gets a new server up and running again though.  Be nice to see who would return.
