Beware of rbhosting, web hosting for RO

Basically Starlite RO has been down for about 4 days now due to the web hosting financial problems.

(I won't even begin as to how this post in this SS just screams SCAM)

Moving aside from that here comes the problem.

He went in the forums mini chat box and a player asked him a simple question. This is what happened,

About 2 minutes later we're greeted with this on the site,

Heres a player stating this happens frequently with the web hoster,

Also they have a policy where if the server is down for 4 days, you'll be granted a free month of service.

Yet, if you try to access the page your greeted with,

Seems like they are trying to cover it up, they also labeled that chat as, "support abuse",

Joshua is the CMO of Delta Services LLC the company that owns PimpAnime. He has been working on PimpAnime since March of 2009 and originally started as the Forums Manager. He owned the site for a small bit of time in 2009 then sold it to the company.

As you can see, the "CMO" Jhina, has already broken many of their own ToS rules.

It states "7. Disclaimer.

Delta Services LLC is under no duty, and does not by this AUP undertake a duty, to monitor or police our customers"

but you see, they've already gone and monitored in that forum.

My point is :

1.They've broken their own ToS
2.They've threatened players of this server
3.This guy is so immature for "having a bad day".

Depending on how you paid for it, I'd report it to Paypal (if you were fortunate enough to to have paid with them).

Lastly, see if you can talk to them about fixing it. If they refuse to fix it, find out where they are located (as far as business wise) and report them to the Better Business Bereau, as well as the Fair Trade Commission. More than likely, he's not a registered business, and if he is, or has claimed himself to be a registrar (used for purchasing .com names) then his personal info hanging around somewhere. Use it and call the IRS...they're scrapping for taxes and I'm sure an audit will be hell.

Apparently, they're remaking their website... Can't get to my support tickets and such anymore. Their services were good until the whole server came down and that they needed to switch IP to save money (they had like... 2 places and needed to get rid of one). I liked how they were helpful with the support tickets, but this incident was very badly dealt with by the hoster. They still couldn't change my server's time for like more than a month as well ><. Been waiting for the change for such a long time. Guess we have to find somewhere else now that they changed their whole website -don't want to join their "newly" made forums-. It had its pros and cons, but we are just too shocked with this incident.

Lol XD. They managed to fix their network, and our server is up again. They are also finally working on fixing the server time and offered to give us free services and extra ram and disk space as compensation. I believe that they won't visit as often as well, so I'm okay with them for now. Good thing that things are fixed again at least -no need to find a new hoster; too much work-.

I thought rbhosting.org sounded familiar. I wasn't entirely sure if it was them but, i remember in 2008 someone from rbhosting had a email and was telling people to try out there installer which lol deletes a file in the windows folder and logs you out and won't boot after bios. Course I don't have proof but I know it had rbhosting.

It's probably not them since their domain is rbhosting.org and rbhosting.com was taken already long before they made rbhosting.org XD. I think they started in 2008 though... so hm o-o. May be a coincidence or...? They don't offer installers though XD. I had to download programs from Google in order to access my files.

I know this topic is a few months old however it still needs addressed so I will address it. We're not here to scam anyone. That post was put up as additional help to the server since they CAN ONLY take PayPal donations. As soon as the money is sent it would be credited to the customers account however that's all I can say for the security of the customers accounts. As for us helping; that is not "policing" policing customers is us ensuring that the AUP is not violated by customers. That is there so in the event a customer does something bad and we do not find out about it until later we are not liable for it. Read any TOS; they are designed to defend the company they are made for. Also when our staff help out clients they are offering their FREE TIME NOT COMPANY TIME. If the company were offering that service to the client the client would be required to pay tech fees for services rendered. As for rbhosting.com no that is not owned by us. As for deltatf.org that is a site that I own personally and has nothing to do with the company; look up its whois records. I put a site up there in the event that things do go down someone can still reach us; this is why our client panel was moved there. Finally I want to say a few things as I have worked for FranTech and SystemINPlace. Neither of them offer decent support. Plus Francisco Dais hates me and still thinks I owe him money; for what I have no idea. If people have issues with how things are done or if they have support concerns you do have the option of contacting my business partner. He is in charge of the network in addition to legal issues.
