ANYBODY CAN TELL ME WHY IS IT LIKE THIS?

I HAVE A +9 GR MINK COAT AND IT IS USING BY MY LVL 94 PRISTESS IN pRO BALDUR(CHAOS) SERVER BUT A SINX CAN KILL ME STILL W 1 SONIC BLOW...THAT'S CONFUSING...
ANYBODY CAN ANSWER THAT FOR ME PLS..

For the sheer sake of mentioning it, all caps are generally considered rude, since it's suppose to represent yelling. D=

Now then, on to the actual point, no, it doesn't mean it's useless. What it does mean is that anyone intelligent enough with a SinX will know that there are endless ways to by-pass it. SinX's SB is an irritating attack to counter. If you're in PVP, without assistance, there's a simple strategy that still works pretty well.

Simply have fury and your five spirit spheres ready. Whenever he comes close, use blade stop. Catch them, then Asura them. Most SinX will go down.

This skill can not be used to counter enemy skills. Don't work against Boss type monsters. Uses up 1 Spirit Sphere.

- Hit them first. This requires near instant cast, though, so... Meh. Good luck with that.

- Finger Offensive is your friend. Keeping your distance is essential. Of course, then they can start pulling out SBKs. In that case, having a hide clip handy is a good idea as well.

Having a GR is like having another gear in your inventory. In RO, there's no such a thing as a definite gear. Veterans would have known well to switch gears to suit different situation. A GR is used to defense against sacrifice and Asura. So if anyone uses another element, simply change your armor and fight him again.

A 2 cent tip from me, if he's a SinX, i recommend ED or Bathory. Might Backfire his Enchant Poison, but if you see him cloak and walk away for a little while, change over to your GR. he has most probably dispose of his Enchant Poison. Now that's what I call, win by technique, not resources(the EDP SinX).

lol all GR does is make u ghost ele lvl 1
so it reduces dmg from neutral atks...
but atks from elements will still do the same dmg

(well if you dont like the word "useless", i dont have any choice, dont know the synonym of useless)

Priests have it easier, actually, because they have a simple technique known as Safety wall. =D Easily takes care of being hit from SB. Not to mention, you still want to keep him at a distance, so if you know for sure he's a SB-oriented player, spamming Holy Light is actually an effective strategy.

Really, you don't want to actually rely on your armor for safety. It can help, but your skills will always over power your gear.

So true. Again you never know which element they will use as there are things called elemental converters but most common one is wind considering Valkyrie Shield doesn't reduce wind damage but there's a card called Dustiness I believe which is 30% less from wind in Garment.

Again tho like you said there's no specific gear that will make you "godly". GR is pretty useless in most cases.
