and the items they give are only ment to be a thank you gift


but the problem only arises when the "thank you gift" is too powerful and gives someone an advantage over the other

most people donates not to help the server run
but to get those reward and have something to show off

Haha...I've always wonder. Why not just change the word 'donate' to 'buy'.

But I guess there's something in the law stating that you can't gain profit for hosting RO, they changed the word 'buy' to 'donate'. Player's buy their items to lvl, hunt and PvP better. Only a few donate honestly.

All of the donors just want themselves to be treated specially, and likewise most of them are immune to punishments..

in some server,selling items/zeny for real money is strictly probihited.
but ive seen that some donors violated this rules and did that
freely without worrying about facing the consenquences... 
ksing/looting and being harassed by donors is a common problem too...
if an average player guilty on any of these rules,they get baned instantly...
but if we talkin bout DONORS faults...they get away easily and sometimes
GM's is playing deft/blind to all complaints...

Yeah, but sometimes you would ask. The players who aren't donating knows nothing but to complain, and some even wants to piss you off for no reason-my scenario before.

XD and yes they really need to change it to buy, i mean honestly theres only about 1 server out of 100 that don't ask for donations
