Male playing female has become quite "normal" nowadays, it's no longer considered an oddity, with internet you can change gender as you see fit and it's not like people can prove it. So I've come to consider anyone as "what their char are", regardless of what they are really in real life, even if I know to be sure. One of my friend I call she in game, but he's really a guy.

I've known only 1 girl who was serious about playing male character, the other real girls usually play girls. Personally I cross-gender for bard, and I have a male priest because my ex used to play the game and left me his character, the rest of my chars are female.

i am a girl and i use male sprite since 2002 lol. my first RO account was using girl char, that's about it.

always like the male sprite better, it's nice the hair style is nice.  All the girl hair style are not my taste soo... and girl char sprite isn't as good as male char sprite.  that's my opinion.

yeah,theres nothing wrong with a male playing as a female character but there is also an issue about this...
some male players uses the female char to lie and cheat people...for example,a guy that has female char who
pretend as a girl and started entertain a real guy player whose wealthy in game just to asked him to buy this and that for her after she gets all she wanted from the guy,ofcourse shes gonna dump thepoor sucker and find another victim of her so sick SCAM...its ashame but i knew a lot of people like that and got away with it...
thats why i told my friend,do not look for a GF in game coz some of them are FAKE

I think everyone should work for their level and equips, sure it's fine to help a friend, but if you spoonfeed a "girl" by giving her tonz of stuff and she turns out to be a lazy guy cheating you, well that's your damn fault lol Girls are perfectly capable of playing this game, and real girls will usually prefer that you play the game with them rather than play for them.

Once a guy actually came to me, thinking I was a real girl. He asked me to marry him, to which I said maybe, and asked about my bra size. After messing around with him for a bit I logged out and deleted that character.

Oh, and sometimes scamming girls are actually girls. Yeah, you lot ain't not innocent either
