hi... i want to know... if i use valk shield with thara card... do i recive 50% less damage from a proff firebolt... coz valk shield is -20% fire and thara -30% demi-human...

and does damage reduction stack with racial , element and size

From what I know(not quite sure), they stack in a different way.

For example, A fire bolt deals 100 damage, with valkyrie shield, it's now 80. Then add thara up and fire bolt damage will be 56.

56?? why should it be 50?? and if i use size reduce eq.. does it stack....??

100 x 0.20 = 80 Then
80 x 0.30 = 56, get it?

Not sure about it, but the results seem to be the same no matter which came first.

Damage calculation works this way if it's race+size or race+element or w/e.

But if it's all demi human, like feather beret+thara, it's a whole 40% to be deducted from 100.

(70%) x (80%) = 56% damage taken from total, in other words 44% reduction. So.

100 x 56% = 56 damage taken from a 100 damage firebolt.

Same type resistances stack additively, odd types stack multiplicatively. Like, say, a Beret (10% Demi-Human resist) and a Thara Frog Card would become 40% Resist, not 37%.
