Question to all the veterens around. Despite my experience in RO, I still can't understand the mechanics of criticals properly.

For example. Lets say the target has around 600 flee and I have 400 hit. Do do crits hit regardless of the target's flee? :3

Crit ignores flee and def but not resists (thara, etc) and perfect dodge.

Triper

Don't mix flee with perfect dodge, CRIT doesn't ignore it and don't forget the Crit Shield:
QuoteWhen you attack a monster or a player, the target's LUK influences your critical hit rate. Every 5 LUK that the target has, you lose 1% crit (Which isn't shown in the status window). For example if you hit Angeling, that has 100 LUK, you'll lose 100/5 = 20 crit. This crit tolerance is also known as "Crit Shield"

Wait.. So.. Back to my question.. Crits ignore flee and def? Armor def and VIT def right? Crit shields from the target's luck decreases the crit chance? What about the perfect dodge you were talking about?

On your status window:
<flee>+<perfect dodge>
if perfect dodge is 100, you wouldn't even hit any normal atk at all(includes crit).
For crit shield, you could try them out at moscovia. Mobs there have high luk which makes critical hits rare to proc.

SnowBunny

Well.. Perfect dodge here.. I think the max is around 20 - 30ish.. Unless someone @stats you.. Hmm.. Actually.. Just wondering which factor does the crit bypass.. So it's Flee and Def right.. Thanks bros. :3
