Just curious about this thing...
ASSUMING all your gears consists of changing your weapon element, what element would override the others? and how does this interact with skills/items that also changes your auto-hit element?
For example.
Head gear changes your weapon element to earth
Weapon as Twin Edge of Nagth Sieger Blue
Garment changes your weapon element to wind
Then Magnum break, Aspersio, or converters in no particular order.
Which would override which if weapon is neutral? and other instances that can/may affect the weapon element.
Mild wind > Endow/Converters > Arrow > Weapon
Mild Wind effect all atk on renewal
Endow / Convert / Asper / Envenom doesnt effect status atk and only effect weapon and extra attack on renewal
(non neutral) Arrow have higher priority than weapon element (ranged weapon with elements)
Is there even non-weapon headgear with bonus bAtkEle,Ele_*?
I doubt there is. In case of dual wield, the element in main should take priority over off-hand (not sure what happens with neutral in main hand and non-neutral in off-hand though).

I have questions on this. what exactly do you mean by affect weapon and extra attack but doesnt affect status atk?
and does using mild wind then buffing aspersio remove mild wild or it just ignores aspersio?

Just tried. weapon is neutral. it ignores off-hand element
