Why do people like high rates?

Wait what strategy? Tbh strategy is non-existent in high rate servers. Thats my view, its just a total DPS race. Out-DPS someone, ygg, then look for your next target and attempt to DPS it down...

Some players DO have strategy, others just jump at DPSing, but you're right, most SHR are filled with dicks.

Well its up to whoever wants to have 24 hours of free time and you have no right to judge them.

Anyways, there is a strategy in HR server when it comes to WoE. You need teamwork if you want to do well in WoE. But I think the only strategy there is in PvP is too out damage your opponent since they're immune to status effects because of high stats.

IMO, most RO players would just like to PvP and WoE or just have time to talk with friends while having a super-awesome character.

Yah, major emphasis on the some being like 10% of the whole server pop that actually use strategy thats why the guild prospers(/brag: Like mine) 

But tbh I'm an old school kinda guy, I'd like going fast but I'd much prefer going strategically slow, hitting em where it hurts and take em down hard(!). Guaranteed at least 2 castles after the end of WoE

I prefer defending at woe, I don't like taking castles much, I prefer set up traps all over the castle and wait the assassin come with no SP and heavely damaged. It's easy to take out that way.

The only thing I hate at High Rates is the fact that everyone consider friendship/team strategy/outnumberment on PvP as cheating. Damn, at low rates there are A LOT of parties nobody can deny that, but at High Rates, people just want to solo everything.

I agree with you 100% some people even say no teaming should be a rule but look at the lowrates and midrates my brother even questioned what PVP means he first tried lowrates and thought it was party vs party but it's really player vs player

I like highrates because of the WoE ... it should be challenging but I only saw a handful of them so I'm switching to midrate to see what happens.

I credit that to the fact that HR people just outpot traps and noob precasts thrown at them, thus the rush and kill. However, if a guild manages to get together a precast so powerful that it cannot be outpotted, that's where you'll see strategies being formed.

but still WoE and things like that are reasons ppl join servers, so discussing the WoE, PvP, and other features of a HR could also help explain why some ppl join them
