I prefer Midrate.
Low rate is too hard for me. O_O' It can get really boring when it comes to leveling and hunting. D:
And due to this fact it forces players to cheat like using bot programs. =.=" Yeah no matter what kind of server it is you can find players who try to break the rules with botting (Although there are some servers who allow bots). *-* But in my opinion it is too unfair when it comes to low rates because it is really hard to progress in such servers if you just play manually, then there is someone who does nothing much at all and gets rich and powerful.
High rate is too easy and is usually imbalanced due to the really high level and stat max range. >.<
