Yeah, but it's not released yet.

Also, more doom prophecies, all korean MMORPGs I could think about:

(Seriously, MapleStory? What the f***)

The fact that those search doesn't find data from South Korea neither in latin alphabet or Hangul serious puts that data in question, it most likely only reproduce the search results from western countries... so we can't sure know the situation in the home market (unless anyone here lives in South Korea and can report the real situation which I believe anyone here would be glad to hear ^___^).

Hell, it couldn't even find WoW data in south korea @_@... and MapleStory is like Nintendo Wii, it appeals to non-gamers, data from 2006 (http://gamestudy.org/eblog/2006/04/21/some-facts-on-maple-story/) points that it has more than 56 million players worldwide @_@.

Ah, an excellent point. This also goes for japanese and russian, though these should be niche markets.

Anyone knows how is RO in korean?

the answer is quite simple.  i have said this before and it is still true.  Maple has the better quest system.  RO have better skills, classes, game play, and a better economy, but they skimped on the quests.  Maple has several times the quests RO does, they are easier to find, and range in both complexity and the player skills necessary to complete them.  RO you have to do a Wiki search just to find out there are quests, and they are all dozens of steps in length.  Further, later patches broke some of the quests, without changing them ( the assassins guild quest in particular).  It was a mistake and it cost them.

However, the private servers can make up for Kro's opps.  Everyone, script quests now!!!
The most dangerous thing a GM can do is to play NPC combatants as if they have brains, goals, and the desire to remain alive.

xD -Raises hand.- I think I'm one of the few people that can say that I have at least tried every one of our quests. He's got a good point. Most of them are either far too complex without giving a worth-while reward, are tedious and boring, or are just plain pointless. x_O; Hell, half of the useless quests don't even widen your understanding of the game's back story, which was one of the reasons I went around and did them.

Maple Story's game play was too poor in my opinion to make me play it, but I do agree that some of the quests were actually impressive. Quests keep things from getting boring. xD They give you something to focus on besides that next level number.
