so i just came back to ro after 3 or 4 years, not even sure, of not playing. everything is imbalanced now, there are way to many acronyms, and private servers have been invaded by pinoys, mostly champs and sinx with no originality whatsoever. did gravity and their development team start smoking crack for inspiration or something?

SinX/champ are classes that get kinda overpowered on over-99 level servers. And those short lived HR servers are quite often overrun with pinoys.

Bottom line, play low or mid rates.

i've played some full renewal(that made me lol hard), not really sure about half renewal and  an old one with no trans(which i've decided i'm going to stay with for now). my opinion still remains the same. ro is broken.

You may be right but pinoys rule the internet world to be honest. Look, when I played online poker they were the ones with billions on free poker websites. They're also the ones teaching English for next-to-nothing which made it hard for me to find a job. However, they are good at what they do, you gotta give them that. Plus they're kind of bilingual which gives them an edge.

What's funny is that when I tried to copy their methods I failed but you see, it also depends on the individual. If you're beeming with confidence then you're already there. And from what I've witnessed, pinoys are generally optimistic, willing to learn, quick on their feet and open to new ideas.

sure for OHKO-ing EDP linked SB and asura at very high str lvls do more burst damage than most others...
but for most everyday hunting and most non-9999-healing mvps, DS is hax... sure heat can do more damage to more high lvled mobs with defender (such as DG), but heat is limited to 3 maps at any one time... furthermore there's the OB-ulle and sniper accessories combo... add pharaoh and slotted mids and you end up with 2 SP DS... add in earth deleter cards and/or easy SP regen items and you get the energizer bunny... ;

DS is definitely not overpowered lol. Snipers are single-target damage dealers with good support skills.

RO has a different kind of balance than most if not all games. Regarding skills, Gravity balances out Overpowered ones by making something else even more overpowered.
Besides that, if there's ever a time when RO has been broken is with the introduction of Trans skills (most people agree that the game was better before).

About the DS comment, Stalkers with DS aren't anywhere near as bad as snipers regarding that, so it's not a problem with the specific skill, it's more about the class that uses it. Besides, there's more effective spammable skills when it comes to a sp/damage ratio like Pierce, Grimtooth, Mammomite and Heat for instance.

Yeah DS isn't OP - you can reach 10k with crazy equips and its quite sp consuming too. IMO edp SB is more OP
