Usually, when I start playing a server, the very first thing I'll do is create a forum account. If there's a good community, that's fun to talk to, I definitely am a forum wh*re. Not necessarily a spamming one, more or less, one that likes to be involved in community-based things.

I usually make one class, which is more than likely a priest, and sit around after getting her to max/an acceptable level and make friends. Usually it only takes me a couple of days to memorize all of the basic inner-workings, and from then on out I help to the best of my ability when there's someone in need, and a GM isn't around. xP I occasionally make PvP classes and randomly jump into the PvP rooms of a server.

Helping on a server is like, a hobby of mine, especially when I've found a server I believe I can call a home. My RO life will probably drastically change (and it already has) once I get Maelstrom up and running.

Hmm. I guess the best account I can give of how I spent my time on RO would be the two years I spent on FaithRO.

I was brought there by my friend Adam, and in turn I brought most of our guild from EShadowRO to there. We leveled together, met new people, etc. It was a PK server, so sticking together was definitely a must. I also got my wife(real wife, not RO wife) playing on it as her first ever RO server, so when she wanted to make a Sin X, I stopped leveling my LK and made a Sin X alongside her.

Along the way of leveling, ran into some people who ended up enemies(corrupt ex-GM and his girlfriend, starting sh*t with Katherine), and ended up becoming a "bodyguard" of sorts for my friends.

I also get a big kick out of hearing "*insert build here* can't be done here it's stupid noob lolol". I tend to prove them wrong. EVERYBODY said a dual Sword Crit Sin X can't succeed due to low HP and barely decent DPS. I started using it based off of a build from EShadowRO for my old M Sin X(my F(main) was dagger/blade) and went up from there. Wound up exceeding damage records for the class - first to Crit 10K, first to Crit 15K, first to Crit 20K. No buffs, all elemental shiz.

I thoroughly enjoyed protecting new or weaker players, as well. One of my best friends was a baby Sin that I covered in Clock Tower 1 constantly. After knocking around a few morons who dared to touch her, she could sit in CT1 in peace and talk to friends without any fear of getting offed. An often used phrase was "Don't hit Andais, or Kayin will KoS you". Rofl.

I guess that's it. I like proving people wrong when they say things can't be done, I also like taking classes and using them in a different fashion from everybody else. Crit LK was exceptionally hard at 185 max stats, but when all was said and done, Kaia(My F LK) was nailing off crits in the range of 7-9K when in Berzerk. I also was one of the few people on the server to successfully create the "Walking GTB" gear build, with the help of a few friends who provided the cards. I could take on a 255 Wizard who would do damn near 8Ks with Storm Gust to other players, and make it do 1s. Lol.

So, that's it. Now I just spend my days scripting, tooling around on my legits(LK/SinX/Stalker), looking up source edits, or thinking about how to make the game better for my players.

I usually like to level a lot first, get some uber equips. See which guild I like, join that guild. WoE if I can. Then once I good stuffs, I sit in town, then make friends. xD I usually always help out new people with equips & whatnot when I play a server.

On one of the first servers where I actually knew what I was doing, I was playing with my best friend (later boyfriend) for about a year. We just played together and kept to ourselves, because honestly the community was really horrible and there weren't many people to talk to anyway. Quietest I've ever been on RO.

First time around [on my most recent server], I dragged friends over from a different server and we all leveled together and had a blast. If someone mentioned that they thought a certain headgear was cute, I would make it for them and give it to them later on. If someone was just starting out, I would see what I had for them or help them level. I made a guild that was basically an "interim guild" for people to join while they were leveling, so they had a bunch of nice people to befriend and keep them entertained, and guild storage stocked with things to keep 'em going. When they got to a high enough level or wanted to WoE, they went to another guild, but still retained the friendships they made while in mine. Once my main was all set, I was all about everyone else, and that's how I ended up as a GM. Then I quit, but we won't talk about that.

I started a new account, where I just do my thing if and when I have some spare time. But I honestly haven't been playing much of anything, despite the six or seven servers on my computer XDD There's one I use just to test builds and generally cause mayhem, and there are others that are just stagnating.

Overall, I guess I start a server, help everyone, then get pissed when nobody appreciates it, and I leave. XD

Edit: As for marriage, I *always* marry dearest Briggs, rl boyfriend. There's no reason to be starting drama marrying someone else XD

Hehe ^_^;

First thing I do is either get a dropping Lif doll, if possible of course, then the second thing I do is make an alchemist and create a real Lif.

You don't make friends while leveling in SHR though :P

Mostly, when I first join a server, I would go lvl up until I change into first job. And if I'm lucky and see a party somewhere I would offer my self to join. That's pretty much how I make friends while leveling. And if my friends are not online when I am, I'd solo until I'm bored. I make friends while leveling too. If my lvl is high enough and needs a certain amount of time to lvl up, I would sit in town and chat with friends or do random quests. Etc...

Once I gear up my char with decent equips, I'd join a guild and just PvP whenever I get online. Or if my inventory is low on items, I'd go hunt for more(usually its Berries). Mostly I get online just for WoE or if I'm really bored, I would do more quests.

That's pretty much how I live my RO life unless someone I meet directs me to another part of RO that I've not discover.

Heck, i might as well join in this thread (just created my acc on this forum :P)

Well, my RO life is actually a big party of my life, since its one of the few games i cant imagine quitting.
Its like Starcraft, i just keep on playing it. ^^
When i get home from work i log on my merch to see if i have sold anything, and then i log on my main and see who's online and chat a bit.
Ro isnt only a game for me, its a way of reaching out and making new contacts. Meeting new ppl from around the world. And having a blast with them! :D

I usually start on a server (i'm no jumper, i pick one and stay by it til the end) by making my fav char. The wizard.
Then when it has gotten a bit, i make a merch to help the economy. As a wiz, getting into a party is easy if you know where to look, so most of the time i have something to do. And if i get to know some nice ppl, they'll help out when ever they can.

I try to get online every day, to keep up to date with whats happening, to get into parties, and have fun.

For me, its not just a game, its a awsome game where i can have loads of fun! ^^
And i wont quit it...
