With all the hype going on in official RO be it the RE:Start or the PH RO official, I came across this link in the warpportal forum.  So these two new classes Star Emperor and Soul Reaper are closer to release than I think they are, coming to kRO some time this year maybe.  Together with level 185 expansion.

While I still think Doram is a new thing ._.

Did you see the Gravity stream yesterday? It was so lame, they line up a bunch of guys and had them shoot a toy bow at a whiteboard 1 feet away for prizes because the suction from the toy arrows sucked. But at least there were cosplay girls. And I wish I understood what they were saying though.

And it was only recently iRO implemented Doram because Warp Portal. I saw Oda and Astra showing off Doram along with Rockridge on there stream. And with ro:re I doubt Camp can get that implemented anytime soon.

Cool sprites though.

Another level cap with the attached power creep in a game where any notion of balance and teamwork already went out of the window doesn't sound like a very good idea to me. Neither is making people level all over again, transcendent style. That worked 10 years ago when the game still involved playing with others and heavy grind was something acceptable, nowadays the game revolves around soloing and most players loathe any sort of serious grind.

I hope the team handling those new classes does a decent job, because Rebel turned out to be a complete trainwreck, only salvaged by one cheesy skil. After two years, they still couldn't manage to make the class playable but instead decided to give them copies of some of the most powerful skills from other classes plus absurd damage modifiers, removing all unique mechanics in the process and calling it a day.

Those new classes were promised a very long time ago though, at least they're finally working on them.
