raising a bongun- need help

i had decided to get a bongun as a pet,  i feed him regurally when needed and i keep him around me at all times, it's beeen about 3 weeks but he still feels neutral about me, how can i raise his intimacy level?

hmmm, well you can get him his pet accessory im not sure but if that doesn't help at least it'll help make him look cuter ^^

but other then that just feed him when hes hungry and thats all you can do i guess



EDIT: oh ya i should mention, make sure hes not with you when you die or he might lose some intimacy

Don't stuff it back into its egg if you keep doing that.

Feed it when it's Neutral, it's faster that way.

ah i gave him his accessory when i first got him.
is that true? he'll really lose his intimacy? ah that might be it, i save myself zenny by not buying butterfly wings and just letting myself die to get to morroc.
