Sounds like you're using a SinX and playing a high rate.

What I would recommend for cards:

Desert Wolf
Orc Skeleton
Maybe TG in place of the Desert Wolf

And use EDP!

Also, try to get a Gloom Under Night card. It's for armor, but it will improve your damage immensely vs the Emperium.
The only way to save Modern TV: burn it in a pile, then burn the ashes, then compress and burn those ashes, then sprinkle it with holy water, then send the result into a black hole and never see it again.

Right mix of Orc Skel, TG, Desert wolf cards. I won't do maths for you, there is enough of it flying around, so look it up.

if emperium still counts as insect, caramel cards are a nice addition.

The site says that the emperium is Angel race, Small size, and Holy 1 property. Caramel wouldn't do anything in this case.

Emperium link

I would also recommend not using a Byeollungum because you take more damage from nonboss monsters, players included. I don't think the emperium counts as a boss, either. Try using a Mysteltainn sword, it will save you the trouble of having to pop a cursed water every time and it has higher attack.

It won't save using CW, as only its (offhand probably) attacks will take shadow element.

I don't understand. Are you saying that an Ice Pick in the off hand won't make the on hand do more damage based on def? If that's true, maybe a Combat Knife would be better in the off-hand.

Afaik, neither position of icepick will make the off-hand "take over bdefratio" / do more damage (or if ice pick is off hand, then on hand)

...or am I doing something wrong now? check these:

Priest has 89+5000 def

That's likely the effect still taking place, but with the off hand's 80% damage penalty. The question is, which has more attack: Main Gauche or Ice Pick?

icepick effect always carries over the right hand weapon damage so the damage should be the same regardless of icepick's position.

icepick damage varies greatly respective to DEF. that should explain why the damages on those screenshots are different and it's not because of the offhand's damage penalty. if it is, then the damage should be 80% of 7016, which is 5613 (rounded off).

the best way to test if offhand penalties carries on the respective weapon's effect is by using a combat knife (or any DEF-ignoring weapon) instead of an icepick as an offhand weapon. but i'm sure weapon position doesn't affect the weapon's special effects like on icepick's or combat knife's.

Actually, not quite. Main Gauche has 43 attack, Ice Pick has either 80 or 70. depending on the slot. If what you've said is true, the Ice Pick effect would indeed carry over to the Main Gauche, but it would also be less attack power. An Angra[4] with a Thanatos in it would do more damage against Pharaoh than a Mace[4] with a Thanatos in it, so why wouldn't an Ice Pick do more than a Main Gauche in this case? That might be an explanation.

i still believe that damage variation due to enemy's VIT DEF is the cause why the damages on the SS'es are different. i haven't tested for a very good long time so i can't prove though. but if relics can give us screenshots of streams of icepick damages (at 190 ASPD), maybe that would convince us.

edit:

done on RMS test server and both chars have identical stats.

that only shows the average damage. the max. damage is around 1300 per hit. so yeah. this proves that icepick damages still does the SAME damage regardless of icepick's position on the char's hands.

why not try usin a weapon with very high atk as opposed to ice pick?

from what i understand, ice pick effect carries over to the main hand if it's on offhand, but retains effect even if on main.

meanin, the perfect MG is dealin 43 atk with ice pick effect when it is on main hand, while the ice pick is dealin 70-80 atk with ice pick effect when its on main hand. understand what i mean?

it's obvious the ice pick on main hand this time will do more dmg.

thats why we advise emp breaker sinxs to use Mes on mainhand and ice pick on off, but Main gauche on off hand and Ice pick on main, since higher atk weapon always goes to mainhand for more dmg.

PS: i presume this is what we're arguing about, lol. i'm kinda confused actually. it seems like everyone is arguing FOR the same thing.
XileRo is the only HR I know that has a reasonable PvP system. I did watch the RWC like you said, all I see is people spamming the room like every other gang fight there is in RO.
