well its on a LR server to be exact its on pRO -.- i liked it somehow coz the only classes that can kill you are WS,sinX,prof and wiz... though its really hard to play it w/ a 4k hp at 99 o.O

You really don't need the dex. 99Int/99 AGI the rest in vit or str. I don't reccomend using a weapon, because you're bolts make up for the melee damage lost. Then there's really no use in having dex, because even if you miss, the bolts will still come down.

i think you need to physically damage your target if so then you will be needing to hit them right?  [if my assumptions are correct then her build is quite correct... though i maybe wrong..]

ah and also if its only a sage then if you put 99int99dex then you wont have any stat points left...

Nope, at least not on iRO. You only need to be attacking your target for bolts to come down.

I tried using bare hands before and I decided it sucked.  I'm also not a big fan of  anything 99/99 really.  The dex is so I can cast effectively while I melee at the same time.  Even with a link, manually casted bolts can still add a lot of damage.  I can also attack two monsters at the same time or use vertical firewalls and heavens drive for a bit of mob control.    I did a quick comparison between a barehanded sage with 112 int/110 agi  and my sage with its current stat/skill build and gear against a monster I kill pretty often.  According to the calc, there was only a 3 aspd difference and lvl 10 bolt damage was similar.  Hardly worth the zeny for a reset imo since I can do anything a pure hindsight sage can do and more.  I'm also not completly f*** without a linker.

Hindsight/autospell still works if you miss but I've already stated my reasons for adding dex in my reply above.

The best thing about changing your job is not becoming a Soul Linker, it's showing everyone online that I did.

Seriously though, leveling up a non-battle SL as Taekwon is THE most tedious thing to do as a first class. Only thing which comes close is battle aco leveling with no Pneuma. The difference there is that when you're leveling up a battle aco, you have it easier with each new level - you increase your battle stats(Str, Agi, Dex, etc.) and skills(Probably Demon Bane and Divine Protection as last ones), plus you're putting your SP to use, and you have Heal.
Taekwon? NOTHING changes - the only stat you're pumping is INT, which is almost completely useless. The only offensive skill you have is Flying Kick which does slightly more damage, but way not enough to take care of your lack of offense and defense. Spurt gives you +10STR which doesn't matter at all at lower STR levels. Sprint gives you +100ATK which is nice, except, you know, YOU CAN'T USE A WEAPON so this is all you'll ever have. Tumble sounds fantastic, but due to it's random nature you can't rely on it.
And Mild Wind? Almost completely worthless. ONLY levels which you can use are Wind(To kill Spores faster) and Fire(To kill Mukas faster; Wolves are out of your league). And these two mobs are what you will be killing 80% of all your leveling time. Other levels are useless because there are just no mobs to kill with them - either they don't give enough jXP or they're too strong.

Oh well. At least I monopolized Clip market. Seriously, I have like ten of them. Too bad I'm already richest guy on the server :'(
