Hey guys,

I'm pretty rich because I killed about 3000 mavkas (=100M+) but I find this way of making money extremely boring. I have a shopping list and it's ridiculously long and killing 30K mavkas wouldn't cover the costs of all the items, but dreaming doesn't hurt right? :p

Anyway, I started grinding in abbey 1 with my WS (giganto axe/aspersio) but I can only stay in the dungeon for about 30 seconds before having to TP back to town to refill SP/HP (I do take pots but banshees hit hard even when you have ray+bathory).
I did that for 2 hours or so to drop wool scarves but I ended up with tons of orlean uniforms instead... It was quite enjoyable though but the trip to abbey 1 cost me all my gefenia money (= 4.5M). If I don't sell at least 5 uniforms I'm toast.

The thing is, prices change so much on our server. One day bone plate is worth 200K and the next day you can't sell it for 90K. It's very frustrating as I buy and resell and oftentimes it bites me in the a$$ since prices can go up or down in a matter of hours (??).

I also tried gefenia with all the stuff and I almost OS succu and incu all the time but then again, too boring and fast-paced for me. It's fine for 30 minutes or so but then it gets really annoying, unless you drop something good like a card.

I love grinding and looking for stuff (rates of my serv x35, not so high, some cards don't drop for 6 hours sometimes).
I started making hats because we have a lot of custom hats - I took the harder ones as I like a challenge. FB can sell for 18M one day and 7M the next and most of my other hats flat-out don't sell. It's gotten to the point where I have the stuff to make some hats but don't want to pay the fee to create them as it adds up fast.

I started making sunnies slot and people like them but I only make about ~900K a pair and since a pair costs me 600K it's not the best business scheme.

Basically I'm looking for ideas - sometimes people are ingenious on our serv and sell worthless stuff for 50K/u and it works just because it's a quest item or whatever.
If you were new on a serv, what would you look for first?
Wool scarves are popular but sadly enough I didn't drop that many, but I'm also talking cards like thara or hydra or whatever.
Also, which hats do you like? (official or custom)

I currently have about 6 autotrades merchants (only about 3 perma autotrades, the other merchants are on accounts I use) and I'd like to make 3 more perma-autotrade merchants at least.
We can use a broadcaster but it costs 80K. I thought about using it for my high-end items (+4 HF as I now have a +7 one, possibly incubus card or some hats) but I'd like someone to suggest suitable texts to advertise said items.

And please share your dungeons/ quests that actually bring in some money.

Thanks!

don't mean to sound rude, but at your rates you already have it easy - if it's still too slow, perhaps RO is not for you...

mavka is probably the best money-exp per hour at any given map it exceeds sleepers more often than not (sleepers to some extent are still more reliable because they're so easy to OHKO).

and even on my server (5/5/3), hunting incubus gives such a good money back guarantee because of all the mastelas and rings and whatnot...

then you can slot sunnies... like omgwtf...

just vend stuff at a place people often frequent or right outside certain popular warp points, it really shouldn't be a problem...
and at your rates, i reckon farming high end stuff or regular npc-able stuff will make you more money much faster than if you take the same amount of time trying to market your trinkets to players... just farm some rare s*** and auction it on the forums. Your server seems inflated enough for you to get top bucks from rare tems...

Thanks a lot for your answer, don't worry I don't take offense that easily  :)
I'm very patient but recently lady luck hasn't been very nice to me and after spending about 3H killing zeroms without getting a single card I decided that a change of plans was in order.

Zeroms are a goldmine on our serv as the card goes for 5M but that's life. The only card that drops fairly often is succubus card, which sells for approximately 9M but you need to find a customer (I have about 6 succubus cards and would really like to get rid of them).

Yeah the good thing is, the quest is quite hard to find (took me a while to figure out how to do it) and the NPC is located on a "dangerous" map (depending on where mobs respawn) so I basically took some screenshots of the quest as a personal reminder and I do it over and over again.
I just sold another pair of slotted sunnies so I'll probably make some more, even if I only get 900K from it the quest takes 2 minutes so it's easy money.

Sadly enough vendors are strictly prohibited from opening a shop outside of the vending zone, and all the vendors who go outside the limits of the zone, even a tiny bit, get kicked by GMs.

I can't really farm MVP stuff but I do have a few rares in my storage that I don't need and that would go for 10M+.
And you're right, I think I'll spend about 20 min/day killing mavkas, that way I can make money at a steady and predictable rate (~8M/hour if I tp a lot) and in a couple of weeks I'll have another hundred millions.

That said making hats is fun and I do intend on selling the hats I already made, even if I have to slash prices. I'll make more sunnies right now because it's a very good idea (and honestly dropping the stuff takes like 1 minute so I can do it a lot if I need to).

So yeah, thanks for the suggestions and keep 'em coming!
