is GRAND CROSS useless in PVP?

GM could you remove the casting time of GRAND CROSS? I get mad when I'm using it because enemies at PVP always run away and attack after Grand Cross was finished[they come back to attack me because Grand Cross damages the user]. It's also ok if you just make it 1 second cast time but more delay after using it.

hmmm but i find GC a rather useful skill if u get lucky u can take out a whole bunch of ppl all at once....

one on one is a lil harder to get if off.... most ppl just run when they see it coming son unless u back them into a corner or their chasing u or something like that its hard to hit ppl with it

The only time you'll get off a GC on a person is if you have super fast cast rate, OR if the opponent is currently fighting with one of your teammates.

For one on one situations, either Bash or Shield Smite them until they get stunned before GCing them.  Or if you have a Pest card that works too, but most of the time you'll be using a Marc anyways.  If they turn to stone, specifically a Sin who uses backslide, make sure you run behind them and space yourself 4 cells from them so you'll hit them even when they do a backslide.

Or maybe the enemy will be noob and just keep meleeing you and you can just GC.

Though, if they have high INT or high M.DEF, your GC will be pretty weak.  It's still good nontheless.  Besides... You shouldn't expect to be able to kill ALL classes.  I always say, I'll leave the high INT characters to be killed by my high ATK teammates.

It depends on the personal skills of the crusader/paladin.

If you're not skillful enough, switch builds, don't ask any GM to lower casting speed or to change any skills for you. You have to adapt to RO, not the other way around.

And lo, they crieth AMEN! If you can't kill them using gc, try something else or get better, you're obviously not a gc-type crusader and you'd be better off with a different skill.

i think it is rather useful, use GC while they are casting
if they can do instant cast, wel.....
i don know how to beat them using GC, but i know that shield chain is always useful

y dont u use angeling card? so GC will miss[on da pala/crusader only not on da enemy] even if they run as da GC cast down GC wont affect u either. em i right??

GC has a 20% HP cost in addition to the self-damaging effect. Angeling does not cover that, since it's in the casting cost.

I used to love GC. Then I grew fond to Shield Saders. But Its not useless, its good if you know what your doing and don't just try to spam it on everyone.
