How would the perfect Ragnarok private server's website look like

I plan on making a GOOD GOOD GODLy website,id like to know what you guys think
First:
How should it be?
horrizental menu,or vertical? submenus?
many buttons? or respect the standard wich is 5 and include submenus
also the content
Tell me what you think

I don't think there is 1 "perfect" option, anything graphical is subjective. Perhaps make a few sample look and show them to people who would be representative of your "target" people.

Something that's simple and isn't too over-detailed. Provides server information, latest news, downloads and a link to the forums.

I know my website fell short on a few key points but just follow the http://www.w3.org/TR/WAI-WEBCONTENT/#toc guide and all should go well. The guide is rather written a long time ago but barely has changed.

I don't like to side-scroll, personally.

Though the layout looks nice. Maybe change the text style/color. Black Time New Roman is so boring.

Yes, Transcend you have to take care of people like me that don't have a widescreen monitor and i think widescreen is not widely used yet ... tho my laptop is widescreen i dont use it much ... and i love my mouse that has horizontal scroll again not everyone has that.  So for picky ppl like me horizontal scroll is a BIG NO NO ... You don't see it on most site, that tells you something wrong with it.  Most ppl uses 1024x768 ...

To be more straight forward, horizontal scroll make a site look unprofessional, visitors are going to think the maker don't know what he/she is doing, make navigation difficult ... etc

I like this <link removed> alone but it is only used as the background image mixed with the banner ... can just make the site load faster without it, just take the top part and use as part of the banner

and lol at news images ...

I have a maxed out 1440x900 res on my 16:10 lcd monitor and I still scroll, so I guess you miscalculated something . I rather you make your banner cut down in height (maybe take a quarter or half that) to ensure a one page fit. You might also want to go set it at the most commonly used res.

Considering the listed e-mail on the site is laecertus@hotmail.com, yC, I think you're right on the money. ;p

Making a site that will be 'compatible' with all screen resolutions is key.  Make a banner thats a small graphic that can be aligned left, center, or right, and another even smaller repeating graphic to 'fill in' the banner area's total width (hint hint, Riot's guidelines for making a forum banner).  Make sure you're also using %s rather than actual pixel sizes for the larger tables, because then they and most everything in them will simply stretch to the person's browser size.
