Ice pick is always a good choice if you have blacksmith link.  Remember that HSCR / CT does not take + % cards into account so +ATK cards ( andre / zipper bears ) are useful.

Overall, anything with high ATK.

+10 Double Diligent Morning Star is a good weapon.. It's a morning star [2] with 2 Zipper Bear Cards.

ok, if it ain't possible, then i'd use a ice pick or +10 triple diligent Gladius due to aspd. i think CT is better spammed, not focused.

Bardiche[2] is good for the 13% reduction from med sized monsters.  Good if you overup it.
Most people switch to Bloody Axe just for the walk speed boost.
*Doomslayer is iffy because the the 40% ASPD reduction.
Great Axe.  No slots, 2 handed, and only +15% stun? No.
Hurricane's Fury is a wonderful weapon.  1 Slot, 332 base ATK, Level 4 Weapon, AND even 10% dmg reduction from med sized monsters, AND extra reduction depending on the refine rate.  Great CT weapon.



*Most whitesmiths on 99/70 max shoot for 180-183 ASPD. If you have more AGI and your ASPD is high while your STR is low, you'll find damage being out potted by people who have a decent amount of VIT or status'd ( due to armor cards ).  Then say that your ASPD is low, then your hits will be strong, you may have more vit, but those classes with flee won't be stunned long enough for you to get off another CT.

Mes is good if you have soul link (almost) all the time. Otherwise I'd go with the hurricane.

+10 Hurricane Fury[1] with Zipper bear card gives you an unbreakable Super high attack weapon that gives you +20% bonus to aspd, and +30% resistance to Medium Sized monsters.   It's a great weapon.  Probably one of the best CT weapons next to Ice pick.

Ice pick is great for using on vit LK's, paladins and other Whitesmith.  Aside from that though, if you want a good one handed weapon, I'd get either +10 double Diligent Morning Star [2] or VVVStrong Refined Combat Knife.  Another possibility is +10 Quadruple Diligent Orcish Axe [4].  You will lose a lot of SP with it, but it has massive attack damage for a one hand weapon.

The best? For 1h weapons, I would say Ice Pick.

If you want to be a real killer though (CT on high vit enemies is out-pottable), just go for max aspd, max vit, and auto-attack with Guillotine.

Ice Pick is good for a switch, but not as a main weapon.

If you want good attack speed, +10 Windhawk works well (I'm too attached to my buffs..). Hurricane Fury is good for raw damage.

Nobody in this topic knows what they're talking about, at all.

The best, ideal, and optimal weapon for HSCR is a Combat Knife. Ice pick isn't worth the extra damage you'd get as opposed to a CK, not even talking about the reduction part. CK will be the optimal weapon on anything that has ~37-40 def(though you'll want to use it all the time regardless, unless you're damn sure of yourself/out of danger/got dispelled, in which case you could do quick swaps to HF to quickly kill someone before swapping back to your Quad Diligent Orcish Axe).

In WoE, you should be using:

CK/Valk
Quad Diligent Orcish Axe/Valk
HF(but don't get caught with it, or you're dead)
Tomahawk(optional but nice for stopping a recall, or a cast)

@naivereaper: You don't tank asura's you hide-dodge them, even if they ruwach, a skillful player(like me) still can dodge no problems.

@fluidin: Why would you cart ram high vit enemies anyway? Your role isn't to kill everything, but to protect your party, and kill squishies/support melee damage. You can't/shouldn't expect to kill a Paladin/LK/WS/SinX/HP on your own, if they know what they're doing. That breed of player is rare, though, so I guess it's okay on noob servers.
