they were obviously used to kill the prisoners that have now turned into zombies and skeletons.

But they are still in 1 piece, : d

To answer your original question, I don't think there is an actual animated guillotine in RO.

I'll have a look around though, I may be wrong.

Good point :<

I think it wouldn't be on one of the older episode maps, as they didn't tend to have animated stuff really.

So far we have one in LHZ and ET102, but they aren't guillotines, GH doesn't have anything animated, usually only the old towns were animated, not the old dungeons and fields

I just looked through the models with browedit and without the one from GH I couldn't find even one which looked a bit like a guilotine. So those are the only ones existing.

Thank you all for helping. I've settled on one in prison after all, but I still wonder what on earth has ingrained the image of an animated guillotine in RO into my mind.

You've probably come across & seen the way that axe in lighthalzen is animated.  It rises up slowly, then falls suddenly just like a guillotine, maybe that's where the image of the animated guillotine came from.

I've actually not really noticed that thing in game as I rarely walk around LHZ... maybe it was in another game entirely.
