Can't tell if any of these videos have anything to do with RO at all. Obviously there is some reference to computer gaming in general, but I haven't heard the word 'RO' or 'Ragnarok Online' being said in any of these videos.

Perhaps someone who speaks Thai can give a brief description of what's going on in these vids. Nonetheless, these are pretty shocking videos. Especially the clip with the guy getting a heart attack from being on the computer too long, makes me think twice about how much time I spend on the computer.

The gaming community, at times, means serious business =/. It's sad how some people are too addicted to games and have their way of lives destroyed or taken away.

There are similar stories from the Chinese gaming community. Probably some from all over the world actually.
I remember on the news about a person playing WoW, and his mother was trapped under a bookcase with her being knocked out. The guy disregarded the sound (and that I think he had headphones on as well), thought nothing of it, and continued playing. It was too late to save the mother by the time he took his next break...
There are cases when people passed out (and a few encountered death) just by staring at the screen for too long doing nothing else for days (not sure about their eating habits).

Sad for all the gaming communities, sad for the world.

Worst thing you can do; is make it seem like it's an issue confined to one country. It's not. Happens in America, UK, Japan, Korea etc. You name it, it has happened. It just depends on how much coverage the issue gets in the media. It's the same as countries where people assume no violence happens. It's just about what the media/governments want to show.

People need to realise that getting that addicted to anything, has no positive outcome. Too much of a good thing.... you know how it goes. Well hopefully, people realise that they need to play more moderately.

Sad losses indeed.

PS: Isn't this the wrong place?

First video 1:07 (he said that both of them met each other on Ragnarok Online)

Moved to a better section since this is more about general RO then some server even if this is more of a global reality then just RO.

And wasn't a video from pRO or tRO with something like this that was used as a publicity where they were talking about - "Play the game, not the player"[don't remember what was it but was something like this]?
I think it was about 2 friends playing with each other at their homes. One got a cool item, other took the tab key from his keyboard, he didn't noticed it and typed the pass to the friend of his account and the next day was with account cleaned but the friend didn't find the cool item so when he found him he killed him to get the account where the item was then there was another part where they show how would be cool if the 2 friends playing together were sharing the item for mutual benefit.

Shame, I liked Thailand.
Thailand isn't the only one having this problem though.

And well, some people are just addicted to online games.. like me, I was addicted to online games like two years ago, it was BAD.
Well now not so much and now i'm thinking to take a break again.

But OHH NOO its VIDEO GAMES. "comforms with stigma of gaming culture"

That's unfortunate and horrible ... games should be fun and for leisure / relax.  Sigh.  You serious you lose.
